CELLULOSE-BASED BEVERAGE CARTRIDGE
Systems, methods, apparatuses and articles of manufacture for cellulose-based multipurpose single-serve beverage cartridges. A cartridge in accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure comprises a cartridge body body comprising a cellulose-based material, a filter, a beverage material, and a cover. The cellulose-based material may also be used for the cover, and reduces the leaching of potentially hazardous materials from similar plastic-based single-serve beverage cartridges.
RIPENING CHAMBER AND METHOD FOR RIPENING FRUIT
The present invention relates to a ripening chamber and a method for fruit ripening.
In particular, the present invention relates to a banana ripening chamber and a method for the artificial ripening of bananas (banana ripening technique).
In a method according to the invention for ripening fruits, bananas, a respiration of the fruits is measured in a closed chamber containing the fruits to be ripened.
A ripening chamber according to the invention is adapted to carry out a method according to the invention for ripening fruit.
LIQUID-CONTAINING COMBINATION CONTAINER, CONTAINER SET, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LIQUID-CONTAINING CONTAINER
A liquid-containing combination container includes a first container that contains a liquid, a second container that contains the first container and that has an oxygen barrier property, and an oxygen absorber that absorbs oxygen in the second container. The first container includes a container body that includes an opening portion and a stopper that closes the opening portion, the stopper has oxygen permeability.
CONTAINER WITH INDEPENDENT REINFORCEMENT FRAME
A container with an independent reinforcement frame, in particular to a container that has a detachable reinforcement section that adheres to the upper part of the container to increase its resistance during transport, storage and addition of goods inside the container and heat-sealable lids and more particularly, the container with an independent reinforcement frame is made up of a material made of cellulose where, derived from its configuration, advantages are obtained in terms of reducing the use of materials and increasing resistance where additionally, the container with an independent reinforcement frame can have a lid that comes off of the same material with which the independent reinforcement frame has been constructed.
RECEPTACLE
The receptacle including stacking lugs to help reduce vacuum and friction when de-nesting the receptacles. The receptacle including a lid that helps when storing certain types of goods and/or serves as a seat. A septum or receptacle molded into the lid to allow for injection of inert gases or flushing headspace.
Insulated storage and transportation containers
A storage container that includes walls having complimentary-shaped edges with complex edge profiles. The complex edge profiles of adjoining walls mate with each other to form an interface that defines a thermal leak path between a storage area of the container and an exterior environment. The thermal leak path has a length that is greater than the thickness of the adjoined walls. In one example, the complex edge profile includes step-shaped features. The walls may also include one or more overlapping super-insulating panels. The panels may be joined to one another with adhesive layers. The super-insulating panels may be also be disposed in a wall including interior and exterior linings that are joined and sealed to define a space between the linings. The space may be evacuated and optionally filled with a super-insulating gas.
DIETARY NUTRIENT COMPOSITIONS
Provided herein are dietary supplement compositions comprising a plurality of beadlets and an oil. Provided herein are also dietary supplement compositions comprising a plurality of mini-tabs and oil. The beadlets or mini-tabs comprise at least one nutrient that is miscible in aqueous solution, and the oil comprises at least one fat-soluble nutrient. The composition may be contained within one or more capsules, and be packaged with a scented insert.
Closures for a product retaining container and related systems and methods
Container closures wherein at least one void comprised in the closure is at least partially filled with a gas or gaseous mixture which by composition or pressure is different from air are disclosed. The oxygen content of said gas can be lower than the oxygen content of air. Through use of such closures for sealing closed containers, the amount of air and therefore oxygen that enters the closed container through closure desorption can be effectively controlled, changed, or even largely eliminated.
Carbonation Preservation Device
The present disclosure provides a carbonation preservation device that attaches to the mouth of an open container holding carbonated liquid. More specifically, the present invention relates to a device for preventing loss of carbonation from a carbonated liquid stored within a container by purging the trapped air above the remaining liquid within the container and replacing it with carbon dioxide or mixture of gases. When in place, the carbonation preservation device purges the air and other gases from the volume above the remaining carbonated liquid and fills the volume with a gas, such as carbon dioxide, or a mixture of gases, in order to pressurize the container and prevent the escape of carbon dioxide from the remaining carbonated liquid in the container.
CONTAINER WITH GAS AND/OR LIQUID PERMEABLE MEMBRANE
A food storage container is provided that may be used to increase shelf life of produce stored therein. The food storage container is preferably used to contain produce that is often not refrigerated, and thus subject to increased humidity levels when stored inside a sealed container. The container preferably includes each of a container portion and a lid member and a container portion, wherein the lid member may be attached and removed to the container portion. The lid member may include upper and lower lid members that are also selectively engageable with one another. A water vapor permeable membrane layer is preferably secured between the upper and lower lid members to help control humidity levels within the container portion. In some embodiments, a gas permeable membrane layer may be present between the upper and lower lid members for controlling gas flow into and out of the container portion as well.
