OXYGEN ABSORBER COMPOSITION, OXYGEN-ABSORBING MULTILAYER BODY, OXYGEN-ABSORBING PACKET, AND METHOD FOR STORING ARTICLE
The present invention provides an oxygen absorber composition containing a hydrocarbon resin; an iron particle having an average particle diameter of 1.0 m or more and 200 m or less and having a BET specific surface area of 10 m.sup.2/g or more; and an aldehyde absorber capable of absorbing at least aldehyde compound, wherein the iron particle contains iron.
Blister package containing the laminated sheet and container
A laminated sheet or a container includes: an absorbing layer absorbing at least one of liquid and gas; a reinforcing layer laminated on the absorbing layer with an adhesive layer interposed therebetween; an aluminum layer laminated on the reinforcing layer with an adhesive layer interposed therebetween; and a barrier layer laminated on the aluminum layer with an adhesive layer interposed therebetween and suppressing entry of at least one of liquid and gas.
Method of forming pouch with oxygen scavenging elements
The method includes infusing oxygen scavenging elements within at least a portion of an interior surface layer of at least one first polymer layer of a pouch material, the pouch material including a gas impermeable layer connected to the at least one first polymer layer, enclosing a consumable item within the pouch material, and joining ends of the pouch material to form a sealed inner cavity, the sealed inner cavity containing the consumable item.
Apparatus and methods for packaging electronic components using a tape having desiccant entrained polymer on a reel
Disclosed is an apparatus. The apparatus includes a reel, a carrier tape wrapped about the reel and a cover tape disposed over the carrier tape. The cover tape and the carrier tape are configured to contain a plurality of electronic components, e.g., integrated circuits. At least one of the carrier tape and the cover tape is made of desiccant entrained polymer, or has desiccant entrained polymer provided on it.
Moisture Barrier Films
A multilayer moisture barrier film includes a first outer layer, a second outer layer, and at least one desiccant-containing inner layer between the first and second outer layers. The inner layer can have cavities with which the desiccant particles are in communication.
Sealing disk for a closure cap for containers, especially bottles
A sealing disc for a closure cap for containers, especially bottle closures for liquids fermented with yeast, consists of a plurality of layers (1, 2, 3, 4). One of these layers (4) comprises an active especially metallic substance in layered or particulate form which binds sulphur compounds in order to reduce the formation of sulphide odours after the bottle has been filled.
Anti-odour Multilayer Packaging Films and Packages Made Therefrom
The present invention relates to anti-odour packaging films and to packages made therefrom. In particular, the present invention relates to anti-odour multilayer gas barrier films including specific anti-odour compounds in at least in one inner layer. These anti-odour films are particularly suitable for food packaging, especially poultry packaging.
OXYGEN SCAVENGING FILMS, PACKAGES, AND RELATED METHODS
Disclosed herein films and packages formed therefrom for packaging oxygen-sensitive products. The films include a product contact layer comprising COC and catalyst. Introduction of a gas flush including hydrogen gas to a package made from said films helps provide for the catalytic combination of molecular hydrogen and molecular oxygen to remove oxygen from a headspace of the package.
Beverage container sealing system
A system for sealing a beverage container includes a crown defining a bottom surface. A liner that includes an oxygen scavenger is coupled to the crown such that a top surface of the liner contacts the bottom surface of the crown. The bottom surface of the liner supports printed indicia where the bottom surface of the liner and the printed indicia are exposed to a beverage contained in the beverage container.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRACKING OF CHEMICAL AND ODOR EXPOSURES
Systems and methods are provided for tracking all chemicals, including odors, a package is exposed to throughout the shipping process. A device is attached to the package or placed within the package to extract the chemicals that are in the surrounding environment to the device. The device can extract and concentrate volatile, semi-volatile and non-volatile chemicals that the device and the corresponding package are exposed to throughout the shipping process. The extracted chemicals may then be desorbed from the device and analyzed by an analytical instrumentation method.
