Mechanism for dispensing pills from an array-type package
A mechanism for dispensing pills from an array-type pill package is provided. The mechanism includes a chassis, a package holder, a cutting mechanism configured to cut a sidewall of an individual container in the array-type pill package, a dispensing mechanism configured to receive and dispense a cut individual container therein; and a control system configured to control a relative position of the cutting mechanism and the package holder along at least two degrees of freedom. A cutting mechanism is also provided. The cutting mechanism includes a cutter base movably mounted to the chassis, a cutting tool mounted to the cutting base and adapted for cutting a side wall of an individual container adjacent a common top surface of an array-type pill package to entirely detach individual container from the array-type package; and motor operatively to displace the cutting tool along a plane generally tangent to the package holder.
Secure Pill Dispenser
A portable pill/tablet/capsule dispensing device. The device's purpose is to enhance the doctor/patient relationship by providing patient doses of medication as prescribed by physician. Since medications are consumed outside of the supervision of the prescribing entity, this device helps to affirm to the prescriber that medications are taken by the patient as prescribed, thus minimizing the potential for medical abuse. The device's body has 2 clam shell halves, ultrasonically welded together and therefore the contents inside the device are not accessible by the patient without proper authorization. The device uses a variety of disposable magazines, prefilled with medications to load into the device by an authorized medication provider. Medications within the device are regulated by a computer program which allows for variable time dosing of medication types according to the patient's needs. Attempts to access medication outside the allowed time intervals are denied and logged for later downloading into the patients file for review.
SMART MULTI-MEDICATION DISPENSER SYSTEM
A smart container for holding a pre-prepared strip of serially connected pill packets, such as a strip stored in a box with each packet containing at least one medication, includes a housing having plural walls defining a space to receive the strip of pill packets; a lid secured to the housing, the lid being movable between open and closed positions, the space being accessible when the lid is in the open position; a dispensing portal disposed at a predetermined position of the housing, the strip of pill packets being dispensable through the dispensing portal; and a guiding mechanism interconnected with the lid. The guiding mechanism engages the strip of pill packets when the strip of pill packets is disposed in the space and aligned in the dispensing portal and the lid is moved to the closed position.
False eyelash dispenser
The present invention relates to an apparatus for dispensing false eyelashes. The apparatus includes a dispensable tape, the tape being loaded with false eyelashes, and the eyelashes being delivered to a user's eyelashes by advancing them forward on the tape. The apparatus further includes an upper and lower clamping mechanism, designed to assist the user, by clamping down on dispensed eyelashes, facilitating more accurate application of the false eyelashes.
Coil packaging for smokeless tobacco
A pocket sized dispenser houses in coiled form a flexible strip of portions of smokeless tobacco sized for placement between a consumer's cheek and gum, where the flexible strip includes a base tape removably attached to the plurality of portions, and wherein the dispenser and strip are adapted to allow a consumer to separate individual portions from the base tape. The individual portions comprise either a collection of tobacco particles at least partially enclosed by a coating comprising a water-soluble non-crosslinked component and a substantially water-insoluble cross-linked component; or pouches attached to the base tape with a food-grade adhesive, the pouches comprising smokeless tobacco enclosed in a water-permeable wrapper with at least one lap-sealed edge. Methods of preparing such are disclosed.
SUPPLY CARTRIDGE, SYSTEM OF SUPPLY CARTRIDGES AND PROCESS OF OPERATION OF A MACHINE USING SAID SYSTEM OF SUPPLY CARTRIDGES
The present invention refers to a supply cartridge (1) comprising a package casing (11) adapted for housing a support (2) of single portions, provided as a strip-like flexible support, or similar, and presenting a plurality of single dose portions (21) of an edible substance, such as for example coffee, disposed successively along a respective longitudinal direction. In particular, the supply cartridge (1) according to the present invention comprises a package casing (11) that presents an exit open adapted so that provided a more efficient and reliable displacement of said support (2) of single portions out of said package casing (11).
The present invention further refers to a system of supply cartridges comprising at least two types of supply cartridges (1, 1), as well as to a process for preparing beverages in a machine (10) for preparing beverages of the type of the present invention.
MULTI-PIECE DISPENSER FOR USE WITH A CONSUMABLE PRODUCT
A multi-piece dispenser for confectionary products including a housing defining an inner chamber for storing a multi-piece package of confectionary product including a slot for receiving an end portion of the multi-piece package for dispensing the confectionary product and a retention member for retaining the end portion of the package within the slot for further dispensing.
CONTAINER FOR RECEIVING A BALANCING WEIGHT ROLLER
A container configured to receive a belt of balancing weights and to dispense the same is formed as a cartridge that is substantially closed on all sides.
