Automated flowable material dispensers and related methods for dispensing flowable material
An automated flowable material dispenser for dispensing flowable material from a flowable material container is provided. In one embodiment, the dispenser may include a dispenser housing configured to receive the flowable material container therein, a solenoid valve assembly positioned within the dispenser housing, and a biasing member configured to bias the flowable material container toward the solenoid valve assembly and to move the flowable material container from an unactuated configuration to an actuated configuration. The dispenser housing may define a dispensing opening along a bottom end of the dispenser housing and may be configured to move between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The solenoid valve assembly may be positioned above the dispensing opening and configured to control dispensing of the flowable material from the dispenser.
PAINT DISPENSING METHOD AND APPARATUS
A fluid dispensing apparatus may be used to dispense a paint fluid from a paint container that is under pressure and that has a pierceable membrane. The fluid dispensing apparatus may include a valve body having a bore, an adaptor having a bore and a piercing member, and a nozzle having a bore. The fluid dispensing apparatus may be operable to pierce the pierceable membrane to communicate the paint within the paint container with the adaptor bore and with the valve body bore. The nozzle may be operable to permit the paint to flow under the pressure out of the paint container, through the adaptor bore, through the valve body bore and through the nozzle bore to ambient.
FIXED QUANTITY INJECTION UNIT
A certain amount of contents is easily sprayed by one pressing operation. A metered spray unit 10 being mounted on a stem 23 of a valve 22 that is provided on the upper portion of a container body 21, configured to spray a certain amount of contents in a container body 21, includes an outer cylinder 30 which is provided with a stem insertion hole 30a into which the tip of the stem 23 is inserted and the inner wall thereof is fixed to the stem, a metering chamber 35 connected to the stem insertion hole 30a, the metering chamber being an internal space having a predetermined capacity, connected to the stem insertion hole 30a, and an spray port 33 communicating with the metering chamber 35, a plug member 40 that is inserted from the inside of the metering chamber 35 into the spray port 33 for blocking the spray port 33, a push button 51, an elastic member 60 for supporting the push button 51 on the outer cylinder 30, and a shaft member 50 connected to the push button 51. The elastic member 60 has an amount of displacement due to the pressing force applied to the push button 51, being smaller than the amount of displacement when applying the same pressing force to the spring for urging the stem 23 within the valve 22.
Spray gun cleaning system using aerosol can
A spray gun cleaning assembly includes an aerosol can and a connecting assembly connecting the aerosol can to a spray gun for cleaning the spray gun. The connector assembly includes a first threaded connector threadedly coupled to the aerosol can; and a second threaded connector threadedly connected to the spray gun. An elongated tube is connected at opposite ends to the first and second threaded connectors. A shut-off valve assembly is operatively coupled to the elongated tube for opening and closing the connecting assembly for providing pressurized air or cleaning fluid to the spray gun.
FLUID DISPENSING GUN AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING 1K-POLYURETHANE FOAM
A fluid dispensing gun for 1K-polyurethane foam includes a dispensing tube with a dosing nozzle at its outlet, a spring-loaded needle co-axially moveable in the dispensing tube for opening and closing the dosing nozzle, a trigger actuating the needle to open the nozzle and to dispense the fluid, a regulator regulating the degree of opening of the nozzle outlet and a coupler coupling a pressurized can to the gun. It also concerns a method for dispensing 1K-polyurethane foam. The fluid dispensing gun includes a delivery device delivering a curing fluid essentially parallel to the nozzle outlet that includes a curing fluid reservoir, a curing fluid outlet situated near the nozzle and a curing fluid line connecting the curing fluid reservoir and the curing fluid outlet, the trigger activating the delivery device. The curing fluid delivered in the same direction as the 1K-polyurethane foam and separately therefrom makes the foam cure more rapidly.
Dispenser with cap
An article has a can with a valve stem and a dispensing device, the dispensing device includes a cap over the valve stem, a hollow tube extending through a slot in the cap and attached to the valve stem, a sleeve slidably extending over the hollow tube, a lever hingedly attached to the cap and operatively engaging the sleeve, an elastic feature that provides a force or causes a force to be applied to the sleeve in a direction that tries to move the sleeve to a closed position, and a sealing gasket between the sleeve and hollow tube proximate to the exit end of the hollow tube; where the sleeve seals the hollow tube when in the closed position and displacing the lever towards the can simultaneously unseals the hollow tube and tilts the valve stem, and when released allows the sleeve to restore to a closed position.
Fluid dispensing device
The invention pertains generally to an improved fluid dispensing device, particularly a dispensing device which employs at least one hemispherical domed cannister source of reactants and which uses a color-changing dispensing plastic tip to inform the end-user if the reactants are at a proper use temperature.
