CANISTER AND VALVE
A canister for a metered dose inhaler has high and low pressure chambers for a propellant and for an inhalable drug and vaporised propellant. The low pressure chamber has an opening for a metering valve. A pressure regulating valve is between the high and low pressure chambers and provides a flow path from them. A metering valve dispenses a metered dose. The valve includes a metering valve body having a propellant metering chamber with a propellant inlet and a product metering chamber with a product inlet, and a metering valve stem with a dispensing nozzle, a propellant inlet plug and a product inlet plug. The metering valve stem moves to a dispensing position. In the dispensing position, the propellant and product metering chambers are in fluid communication with atmosphere via the dispensing nozzle of the metering valve stem such that a metered dose of product and propellant can be dispensed.
DISPENSER COMPRISING PRESSURE CONTROL DEVICE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DISPENSER PARTS AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a pressurizable cylindrical vessel for use in a pressure control system for maintaining a constant predetermined pressure in a fluid container configured to dispense when in use a fluid contained in said fluid container at said constant predetermined pressure, characterized in that the manufacturing is by injection moulding. The invention also relates to a method for assembling a pressurizable fluid container configured to dispense when in use a fluid contained in said container at a constant predetermined pressure. In addition, the invention relates to a pressurizable cylindrical vessel, a pressurizable unit, a pressure control system, a bottom plate and a dispenser; as well as their methods of manufacturing. In a final aspect the invention relates to uses of said parts in a bag-on-valve type packaging or metal can type packaging.
DISCHARGE CONTAINER AND METHOD OF REUSING THE SAME
Provided with a discharge container that is easy to produce and maintains a constant discharge rate per unit time from the beginning to the end. This discharge container is provided with a bottle, a valve assembly configured to close an opening of the bottle and having a valve mechanism, and a pressure regulating mechanism accommodated in the bottle and configured to regulate the internal pressure of the bottle. The pressure regulating mechanism is attached to the lower end of the valve assembly.
Apparatus and methods for dispensing and foaming of a product
A portable apparatus for dispensing and foaming of a product, including: a product container which contains a product that is to be foamed by and dispensed from the apparatus; a gas container, at least containing a gas, for example a single gas or a gas mixture, wherein the gas substantially does not contain any greenhouse gases such as N20; a dispersion device, having a product entrance that is connectable to the product container for receiving product, the dispersion device further being connectable to the gas container for supplying the gas to the product during product discharge; a processing device downstream of the dispersion device for performing a mixing treatment and/or pressure reduction on the product provided with the gas; and a product dispensing head, being part of a top section of the apparatus and being arranged downstream of the processing device.

The present invention provides a pressure control device for maintaining a constant predetermined pressure in a fluid dispensing container, as well as a pressure control system which includes the device. The present invention further concerns a method for manufacturing the pressure control device and system of the invention. The invention is of particular importance in the technical field of aerosol sprays.

Beverage dispensing system 1 comprising a beverage container 2 with a beverage compartment 3 and a pressurizing system 10, wherein the pressurizing system 10 comprises a gas container 11 comprising pressurized gas, a closure 13 closing the gas container 11 and a pressure regulator 12 operative for opening the closure 13 for allowing gas to enter into the beverage compartment 3 from the gas container 11, wherein the pressure regulator 12 comprises a regulating chamber 15 having at least a wall part 17 movable and/or deformable based on pressure in the beverage compartment 3, wherein at least one opening 24 is provided through a wall 18 of the regulating chamber 15 providing for at least part of a gas passage between the regulating chamber 15 and the beverage compartment 3.
DEVICE FOR DISCHARGING FLUIDS
A device for discharging fluids includes a container, to be opened and closed, which forms an interior space of the device for accommodating a spray medium; a capsule connector means in order to establish a fluidic connection between an exchangeable capsule filled with gas and the device; a discharge opening through which the spray medium can be discharged from the device interior space upon actuating the device. A pressure regulator is provided in order to guarantee the discharge of the spray medium, for example, in the form of hot chocolate, at a uniform pressure.
PRESSURE CONTROL SYSTEM
A pressure control system provided for maintaining a constant predetermined excess pressure in a fluid dispensing container comprises a high-pressure plastic vessel having an inner chamber, and a pressure control device having a valve and mounted on the open end of the high-pressure vessel, whereas a passageway is provided from the inner chamber to the outside, which is controlled by the valve. A piston with a protruding stem is provided in a guide member, whereas between the guide member and the piston a chamber with a gas with a reference pressure smaller than the high pressure is enclosed, and the high pressure vessel is closed by a closure with a central bore of smaller diameter than the diameter of the stem, and the piston end remote from the protruding stem is pressurized by the fluid in the fluid dispensing container.
Carbon filled pressurized container and method of making same
A container for releasable pressurized gas or other active ingredient is provided. The container is packed with activated carbon loaded with adsorbed propellant. The container provides a replacement for the hydrocarbon or hydrofluorocarbon propellants currently used in aerosols, dusters and foghorns. A method for making such a replacement system is also provided.
