SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SECUREMENT OF CARGO ON A PALLET
Methods and systems are provided for securing cargo on a pallet using a series of interconnected inflatable members. The system is secured to the pallet using securement straps connected to a fastener. The system prevents cargo from damage or loss as a result of falls from the pallet or collisions with other objects in the environment. Walls of the system can be gradually raised or lowered as cargo is added or removed to provide access to the highest cargo in a stack while protecting the cargo in a lower part of the stack. In some embodiments, the inflatable members can be filled with heated or cooled liquids to improve environmental storage conditions of cargo on the pallet.
PLASTIC PALLET WITH SUPPORT BLOCKS HAVING INNER AND OUTER BLOCKS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A pallet includes a top deck, a bottom deck, and spaced apart support blocks coupled between the top and bottom decks. Each support block includes an outer block having an open top surface exposing an inner block receiving area therein, and an inner block inserted into the inner block receiving area of the outer block.
PLASTIC PALLET WITH SUPPORT BLOCKS HAVING POCKETS FOR PIN WHEELING AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A pallet includes a top deck, a bottom deck and spaced apart corner support blocks coupled between corners of the top and bottom decks and forming a gap therebetween for receiving a lifting member. Each corner support block includes a single column aligned with one of the corners of the top and bottom decks, a lower ledge extending from a bottom end of the single column and defining a lower perimeter of the corner support block, and an upper ledge extending from a top end of the single column and defining an upper perimeter of the corner support block. Exposed side surfaces extend between the upper and lower ledges. The exposed side surfaces are recessed from the defined lower and upper perimeters of the corner support block so as to form a pocket for receiving an end of the lifting member to allow the pallet to be spun around.
Composite material pallet assembly formed from recycled material
A pallet is formed in which one or more components thereof is formed of a composite material. The composite material includes mass particles consisting of a fibrous material derived at least in part from recycled post-consumer materials and a binding material consisting of a thermoplastic material derived at least in part from recycled post-consumer materials. The mass particles and the binding material are mixed such that the binding material is liquified and each mass particle is fully encapsulated by the liquified binding material.
Reel pallet
At least a surface of a reel pallet is made of resin. When a distance in a first direction between a reel supported by a first reel support and a reel supported by a second reel support is denoted by La, a distance in the first direction between an outer edge of the reel supported by the second reel support and a fourth side of an arrangement surface is denoted by Lb1, and a distance in the first direction between an end surface of the reel supported by the first reel support and a second side of the arrangement surface is denoted by Lb2, the reel pallet satisfies a relationship of 1<La/(Lb1+Lb2)<3.
TRANSFER PALLET WITH SUPPORT PLATE
Disclosed is a transfer pallet for use in a conveyor line to load and carry a product thereon, such as an automobile component or an electronic component, in which the transfer pallet is provided with a support plate to load the product thereon in multiple stages.
Method of using a modular container system for radioactive waste
A packaging system for radioactive waste is robust, highly functional, and can be used for nearly all radioactive waste streams that require shielded packaging. The packaging system includes a modular container that is configured to receive modular shielding inserts. The packaging system can be used to store, transport, and dispose of radioactive waste.
PROJECT MATERIAL STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION DEVICE AND SYSTEM
The present device and system provide rigid, stackable storage and transportation platforms. Vertical posts interconnecting side and end beams incorporate upper and lower connection pin plates. In use, these pin plates allow connection of the platform to transport means or stacked connection to other platforms using ISO lock pins. Cross beams extending between the side beams provide additional strength.
A COMPOSITE SANDWICH STRUCTURE
The invention relates to a composite sandwich base panel for a Unit Load Device. The panel comprises an upper surface layer comprising fibre reinforcement material, a lower surface layer comprising fibre reinforcement material, and a central core section where at least the majority comprises a plurality of particles bound in a matrix material. The upper surface layer and lower surface layer are provided with a matrix material to bind them to the central core section.
Plastic pallet with support blocks having inner and outer blocks and associated methods
A pallet includes a top deck, a bottom deck, and spaced apart support blocks coupled between the top and bottom decks. Each support block includes an inner block and an outer block joined together. The outer block has an open top surface exposing an inner block receiving area therein, and includes a bottom surface, and first and second pairs of opposing outer block side surfaces between carried by the bottom surface. Each opposing outer block side surface has a pocket opening therein for also exposing the inner block receiving area. The inner block is inserted into the inner block receiving area of the outer block, and includes first and second pairs of opposing inner block side surfaces. Each opposing inner block side surface is aligned with a pocket opening in a corresponding outer block side surface so as to form a pocket by covering the pocket opening.
