A pallet has a deck, a skid and a plurality of blocks, spacing the skid from the deck. The blocks comprise spacer portions and sleeve portions, wherein the sleeve portions may extend above and below the spacer portions. The pallet constructed in this way can advantageously be made in any conventional size to meet the relevant norm or standard, while benefitting from the fact that the sleeve portions protect the edges of the deck and/or skid from impact. Furthermore, any impact imparted on the blocks is transmitted by the respective sleeve to the deck and/or skid. A logistic system is also described.

BINS AND BIN ASSEMBLIES

Bins and bin assemblies are disclosed. An example bin assembly may include a base having a top board with an upper surface and a lower surface. A first set of side walls may be detachably coupled to the top board. The first set of side walls may include a first side wall having a securing member designed to engage the lower surface of the top board. A second set of side walls may be detachably coupled to the upper surface. The second set of side walls may include a second side wall having a pin member depending therefrom and designed to engage an aperture formed in the upper surface of the top board. A first interlocking member may be along an inner surface of the first side wall. A second interlocking member may be disposed along an inner surface of the second side wall.

Plastic pallet with support blocks having pockets for pin wheeling and associated methods

A pallet includes a top deck, a bottom deck and spaced apart corner support blocks coupled between corners of the top and bottom decks and forming a gap therebetween for receiving a lifting member. Each corner support block includes a single column aligned with one of the corners of the top and bottom decks, a lower ledge extending from a bottom end of the single column and defining a lower perimeter of the corner support block, and an upper ledge extending from a top end of the single column and defining an upper perimeter of the corner support block. Exposed side surfaces extend between the upper and lower ledges. The exposed side surfaces are recessed from the defined lower and upper perimeters of the corner support block so as to form a pocket for receiving an end of the lifting member to allow the pallet to be spun around.
