LID FOR A CONTAINER
A lid for a container is provided. The lid includes a perimeter sidewall having a lower inwardly turned flange and a bottom panel secured to the inwardly turned flange. The lid has a frustoconical shape created by a taper angle of the perimeter sidewall. The perimeter sidewall may have at taper angle that is equal to, greater than, or less than a taper angle of the container into which the lid is inserted. The lid may create an interference fit between the perimeter sidewall of the lid and the sidewall of the container along all or a portion of the height of the perimeter sidewall to secure the lid to the container after the lid is inserted into the upper end opening of the container.
MEDICATION MONITORING SYSTEMS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS AND DEVICES
Devices, systems, and methods for a medication monitoring system are described. An example medication monitoring system for a user includes a container subassembly comprising one or more compartments, each compartment being configured to store medical equipment or medications prescribed to the user, and a lid of the container subassembly pivotally mounted on a first edge of the container subassembly and comprising a magnet at a second edge opposite to the first edge, and an electronics subassembly comprising a magnetic sensor coupled to the magnet in the lid of the container subassembly, and a communication module configured to communicate with a patient record comprising one or more medication regimens for the user.
Pulp-molded paper lid for beverage cup and method for fabricating the same
A pulp-molded paper lid for a beverage cup and a method for fabricating the same is introduced. While said pulp-molded paper lid bears an external pressure to accommodate the convex-ridge ring of the cup body therein, by preloading of an insertion force of said convex-ridge ring, a generating-elasticity device of said pulp-molded paper lid is pre-compressed to compressively deform, along inward directions respectively opposite to radial directions of said pulp-molded paper lid. By removal of said external pressure, a movable bearing wall and an outermost sidewall of said generating-elasticity device exert two reversed elastically-rebound forces by a stretched deformation occurring therebetween, for clamp-retaining two opposed sides of said convex-ridge ring. Said generating-elasticity device is released from the pre-compression to exert preloaded elastic forces along said radial directions, for strengthening the clamp-retention and avoiding the technical problems of the prior arts.
Paper closures for paper containers
A container has a fibrous lid (100) and vessel (110) that have mutually mating raised beads (104, 112). The beads are preferably formed in rings, which in the case of the lid is positioned on the underside of the cap, and in the case of the vessel is positioned at the mouth of the vessel. Also in preferred embodiments, the beads can have outward curls, inward curls, or have a split formation. Both lid and vessel are preferably made of at least 85 wt % paper. The non-paper percentages can advantageously comprise one or more of glues, adhesives, films, and/or moisture barriers, and in most preferred embodiments, the moisture barrier is also an adhesive.
OVERCAP WITH METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MAKING THE SAME
A one-piece paper lid and container system using the one-piece paper lid is provided herein. The one-piece paper lid comprises base having a central portion and peripheral portion, and a circumferential bead disposed adjacent the peripheral portion of the base. The circumferential bead is radially extendable between an inward position defining a first inner diameter and an outward position defining a second inner diameter. The one-piece paper lid further comprises a skirt extending downward from the circumferential bead. The skirt comprises an outer sidewall, an inner sidewall and an upwardly extending curl connecting the outer sidewall and the inner sidewall, wherein the inner sidewall comprises an inner protrusion extending radially inward.
NEGATIVE ANGLE PULP MOLDED CUP LID
Disclosed is a negative angle pulp molded cup lid, wherein the cup lid is made of pulp and comprises a top portion (1) and a side portion (2) connected to an edge of the top portion (1). An inner wall of the side portion (2) has an inner conical surface (31), the inner conical surface (31) forms an angle of less than 90 with a lower surface of the top portion (1), and the inner diameter of the inner conical surface (31) gradually decreases from top to bottom, such that the sealing property and the structural strength can be improved.
Methods and Apparatus for Manufacturing Fiber-Based Meat Containers
Methods and apparatus for vacuum forming a meat tray using a slurry. The slurry comprises: a moisture barrier comprising AKD in the range of about 4% by weight; a fiber base comprising bagasse; and an oil barrier comprising a water-based emulsion in the range of about 1.5% by weight.
CONTAINER SYSTEM WITH LOCKING TABS
A container includes a lid and a base, each having a first and second component of an interlocking interface, the first component having a folding portion, and the second component having a boss. The folding portion has a receiving area to receive the boss and connected to either the lid or base and movable between a position of secure and releasable engagement with the boss and a position of disengagement with the boss. Upon a closing engagement of the lid and the base, a respective portion of the periphery of the base has one of the folding portion and an opposing portion of the periphery of the lid has the other of the folding portion and the boss, so that the respective opposing portions of the lid and base are secured with one another by engagement of the folding portion with the boss.
PULP-MOLDED PAPER CONTAINER
A pulp-molded paper container is introduced herein, which comprises a top cover body, a bottom box body and at least one pivot portion. The top cover body comprises a top sidewall having an inner surface. The bottom box body comprises a bottom sidewall having an outer surface and a recess portion. A plane-to-plane contact is constituted with occurrence of a static friction force, between the inner surface of the top sidewall and the outer surface of the bottom sidewall, by way of an elastic deformation effect of the recess portion under a manner while the bottom box body and the top cover body mutually matched in a closed manner, whereby the static friction force can make a tight retention occurring along between the top cover body and the bottom box body.
PAPER LID FOR FOOD CONTAINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURNG THE SAME
Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a paper lid for a food container, the method including a blanking step of cutting out lid molding paper having radial wrinkles at the edge thereof from base paper having upper and lower surfaces, each of which is treated with a synthetic resin coating, a primary molding step of molding the paper lid including a cover plate and a skirt wall bent downwards along the edge of the cover plate, and a secondary molding step of forming a guide part obtained by bending a large diameter part of the skirt wall so as to be inclined outwards, the guide part guiding coupling with the upper portion of the food container, and molding a curling tight-contact part configured to tightly surround the outside of a reinforcement frame of the food container by curling the upper end of the guide part in the inward direction.
