A protective apparatus configured to protect electrode plates includes a support assembly configured to support a roll around which the electrode plates are wound, and a damping assembly. A top of the damping assembly is fixed to a bottom of the support assembly, and a bottom of the damping assembly is configured to be fixed to a base plate of a transport apparatus.

A packaging, especially for food, including a cardboard shell and a cover placed thereon in the closed state and which engages over the outside of an upper edge of the shell. Inwardly protruding nubs arranged at at least two opposing side walls of the cover interact with retaining elements at associated side walls of the shell. The side walls having the retaining elements each have a wall portion which is connected to the bottom of the shell by a bend, a first reinforcing portion connected to the upper end of the wall portion by a bend, a second reinforcing portion connected to the first reinforcing portion by a bend and an adhesive-secured portion connected to the second reinforcing portion by a bend and which is adhesively bonded to the outer side of the wall portion. A sub-portion of the wall portion that lies above the adhesive-secured portion, and the first and second reinforcing portions delimit a triangular channel. The retaining elements are formed by edges of openings in or by downwardly directed outer surfaces of the second reinforcing portions.

A base assembly for a ball display case includes a base configured to support the display case on a surface. A pedestal is supported by the base and configured to support the ball in the display case. The pedestal includes a platform for seating the ball in the display case. The platform includes a spring configured to yield when contacted by the ball in the display case.

Systems and methods for providing compostable food containers which preserve the quality of a food product for an extended duration of time, and which optionally allow for cooking of the food product therein. In some implementations, the food containers are sturdy, stackable, insulating, and require minimal or no manual labor to assemble. In some implementations, the food container includes a base and a cover which cooperate to form a closed chamber for supporting, protecting, insulating and optionally cooking a food product, such as a pizza. The base and cover may each be formed of a single layer of material including, but not limited to, molded sugarcane fiber (bagasse), molded wood fiber, molded bamboo fiber, molded paper or plastic.

To guard against injury to persons engaging the trim edges of a hinged container, a protective flap extends from the lid on either end of the axial hinge. The flaps extend from the corners of the lid adjacent respective trim edges of the hinge. The flaps have a rounded bottom portion which is extended past the axial hinge line. The curved structure of the protective flaps helps to gently deflect objects, such as fingers, away from any sharply angled trim edges of the hinge, thereby guarding handlers from accidental injury.

The scope of this invention was to create a container that could endure extreme hot temperatures when heated by microwave and endure extreme cold temperatures without cracking when shipped with dry ice. In addition, the container was ergonomically designed to encompass a snug fit to keep the food contained, but the top is easily detached even if the individual does not have full use of their hands. The container is multipurpose. There was not a container on the market that met these criteria, so extensive time was expended to design such a container to fit the needs of the company.

A container configured to contain food stuffs. The container includes a food tray and a matable lid. The food tray includes a tapered portion connected to an upper lip having an upper lip edge perimeter. The matable lid includes a mating portion including an inwardly tapered portion and an outwardly tapered portion forming an undercut region having an undercut region perimeter. The undercut region perimeter is less than the upper lip edge perimeter such that the undercut region flexes when a force is exerted on the matable lid during mating with the food tray. This permits the upper lip to overcome the undercut region and be held in place in a recess in the mating portion.
