Container and lid
An insulated container having a canister can be sealed by a lid structure. The lid structure can be a multi-part insulated lid. The lid can include a vent configured to vent air from inside the canister. In addition, the container may be part of a container kit or container system where one or more inner containers, are nested and secured within the insulated container.
Container closure
Closure for a container mouth, the closure comprising: a cover portion (18) for covering at least a portion of the container mouth; a fastener portion (20) for engaging the container for fastening the closure to the container; and a peelable bracing portion (22) extending generally in a circumferential direction of or around an axis of the closure, the bracing portion overlapping at least partly the cover portion and the fastener portion, and configured to reinforce the closure by bearing, as shear stress at an interface between the bracing portion and at least one of the cover portion and fastener portion, support force in or between one or both of the cover portion and the fastener portion.
VENTILATED LID FOR INSULATED CONTAINER
A lid for an insulated container comprises a flexible gasket configured to facilitate a seal between the lid and an inner wall of the insulated container, and further configured to expand into an interior compartment of the insulated container responsive to a vacuum developing in the interior compartment. A diaphragm chamber is situated opposite the flexible gasket from the interior compartment when the lid is fully engaged with the insulated container. One or more air channels couple the diaphragm chamber to an exterior of the lid. The development of a vacuum in the interior compartment of the insulated container draws a force on the flexible gasket, thereby reducing pressure in the diaphragm chamber. The negative pressure in diaphragm chamber is back-filled with external air, which enters the lid via the air channels. The lid may then be removed without excessive vacuum forces.
Sealing Arrangement For Packaging Container
The present disclosure relates to a paperboard packaging container comprising a sealing arrangement comprising a lid and a sealing rim. The packaging container comprises a circumferential lid sealing member applied in the lid. The sealing rim forms a closed loop extending around the container opening. The sealing rim further comprises a first sealing surface arranged at an upper end edge of the sealing rim and is arranged to seal against a second sealing surface constituted by the circumferential lid sealing member when the lid is in a closed position. The sealing arrangement furthermore comprises a frame structure forming a closed loop extending around a periphery of said container opening and is connected to the sealing rim. The lid is connected to the frame structure by a hinge member and a locking arrangement.
Replaceable jar package
A replaceable jar package includes a push-to-release button, an inner jar sized to fit within the outer jar, the outer jar having a threaded opening at its top and having an opening at its bottom, and having a pair stubs for holding the push-to-release button within the opening at the bottom of the outer jar. The outer jar cooperates with the inner jar to form a snap feature. The inner jar is secured to the outer jar when the snap feature is engaged. The inner jar can be removed from the outer jar when the snap feature becomes disengaged. The snap feature is disengaged by the push-to-release button moving in a direction from the bottom of the outer jar toward a top of the outer jar such that the push-to-release button moves the inner jar relative to the outer jar.
CONTAINER CLOSURE
An assembly includes a jar, a lid, and a sealing liner arranged within the lid. The jar includes a first thread and the lid includes a second thread arranged to mate with the first thread. The first thread includes a detent and the second thread includes a locking nib configured to engage the detent of the first thread. The sealing liner is configured such that, upon twisting the lid onto the jar such that the second thread engages the first thread, the first end of the jar engages the sealing liner and compresses the sealing liner, wherein sealing liner at least partially decompresses when the ends of the first thread and the second thread are in engagement with each other.
Cap
A cap adapted to cover an end of a cask for maturation of a spirit, comprises a body having an outer plate and a flange extending from the outer plate, and an inner plate spaced from the outer plate. The inner plate lies between the outer plate and the end of the cask when the cap is in place on the end of the cask. A layered or ridged spacer can separate the plates, and can permit fluid transfer in the space between the plates. The inner plate can be resistant to vapor transfer, and can be pressed against the outer surface of the end of the cask when the cap is in place on the end of the cask, and leaves an annular area of the end of the cask uncovered.
Packaging container comprising a container body and a base disc
Disclosed is a packaging container comprising a container body having a bottom end and a top end. The container body comprises a tubular container wall. The packaging container is closed at the bottom end by a base disc which is attached to the inner surface of the container body at the bottom end of the container body. The packaging container comprises a top end closure including a lid. The container body comprises a laminate body sheet material comprising a carton layer and a thermoplastic welding layer being arranged on an inner surface of the container body. The base disc comprises a laminate base sheet material comprising a carton layer and an inner thermoplastic welding layer being arranged on a surface of the base disc which is facing towards the interior of the container body.
Tamper-evident closure assembly including outer shell, and related systems and methods
A tamper-evident closure assembly for a container having an opening includes a cap configured to be secured with the container to cover the opening. A tamper-evidencing member is carried by the cap and is configured to provide an indication when the cap is removed from the container. The closure assembly further includes an outer shell having a central aperture through which the cap is received. The outer shell and the cap may be configured to cooperate with each other such that the cap is operatively secured to, and mounted so as to be non-rotatable relative to, the outer shell. Systems for storing material and methods of closing a container and assembling a closure assembly are also provided.
Modified Tumbler Lid
A tumbler cover designed to work in conjunction with a tumbler lid to the cover prevents debris and insects from flying or crawling onto the lid, makes the lid more spill resistant, and increases thermal efficiency of the tumbler, said cover being made of metallic of non-metallic material and attached to the lid with a connection means or a plurality of magnets.
