CONTAINER CLOSURE
Closure for a container mouth, the closure comprising: a cover portion (18) for covering at least a portion of the container mouth; a fastener portion (20) for engaging the container for fastening the closure to the container; and a peelable bracing portion (22) extending generally in a circumferential direction of or around an axis of the closure, the bracing portion overlapping at least partly the cover portion and the fastener portion, and configured to reinforce the closure by bearing, as shear stress at an interface between the bracing portion and at least one of the cover portion and fastener portion, support force in or between one or both of the cover portion and the fastener portion.
COSMETIC PRODUCT COMPRISING A METAL CAN, AND THE CONTENTS OF SAME
Disclosed is a cosmetic product comprising a metal can which contains a cosmetic preparation and comprises a metal container (A) with thread (A) and a lid (D) having a thread (D) and consisting of the same metal as the container. The lid is designed such that it can be screwed onto or unscrewed from the container by a rotational movement. The cosmetic preparation comprises an emulsion of one or more hydrophilic phases and one or more lipophilic phases. The one or more lipophilic phases contain at least one lipid with a viscosity at 25 C. of less than 15 mPa.Math.s and a spreading coefficient at 25 C. of at least 700 mm.sup.2/10 minutes.
CAP
A cap adapted to cover an end of a cask for maturation of a spirit, comprises a body having an outer plate and a flange extending from the outer plate, and an inner plate spaced from the outer plate. The inner plate lies between the outer plate and the end of the cask when the cap is in place on the end of the cask. A layered or ridged spacer can separate the plates, and can permit fluid transfer in the space between the plates. The inner plate can be resistant to vapour transfer, and can be pressed against the outer surface of the end of the cask when the cap is in place on the end of the cask, and leaves an annular area of the end of the cask uncovered.
Tamper-evident closure assembly including outer shell, and related systems and methods
A tamper-evident closure assembly for a container includes a cap configured to be secured with the container to cover the opening. A tamper-evidencing member is carried by the cap and is configured to provide an indication when the cap is removed from the container. The closure assembly further includes an outer shell having a central aperture through which the cap is received. The outer shell and the cap may be configured to cooperate with each other such that the cap is operatively secured to, and mounted so as to be non-rotatable relative to, the outer shell. A system for storing material and a method of closing a container are also provided.
Heat-Sealable Two-Piece Seal Comprising A Peelable Lid
The invention relates to a heat-sealing two-piece seal for sealing a container having a stopper or a cap-type closure, comprising a support temporarily secured to a lid comprising a sheet of conductive material, characterized in that the sheet of conductive material is provided on its lower face with a reinforcing film having a thickness of less than 6 m, on the lower face of which a heat-sealing film is applied.
Seal arrangement for a container closure
A container closure includes a base member, a cover member and a gasket. The base member is configured for attachment to an associated liquid container and includes abase wall having drinking and venting openings. The cover member is removably connected to the base member and includes a cover wall having drinking and venting apertures in selective registry with the respective drinking and venting openings. The gasket is interposed between the base member and the cover member and has an upper surface facing the cover member. The upper surface integrally defines a first seal member surrounding the drinking aperture and a second seal member surrounding the venting aperture. Each of the first seal member and the second seal member is substantially frustoconical shaped and is adapted to flex outwardly into engagement with the cover member in response to an increase in pressure within the associated container.
TWIST LID FOR CUP
A drink-through lid for a beverage cup. The lid seals the open end of a cup containing liquid. A lower section and upper section are rotatably affixed for use, and detachable for cleaning. The lower section and the upper section each have liquid and vapor passageways therethrough. Each of the lower section and upper section include a coupler which enables the upper section and lower section to rotatably move with respect to the other. A first coupler in the lower section may be a downwardly extending annular cylinder having an inner circumferential sidewall. A second coupler in the upper section includes a first prong and a second pron. The first and second prongs each extend downward from a lower engaging surface of the upper section. A registration system is provided using detents and positioners, and bumps and bump seats, to provide haptic snap action between open and closed positions.
Container and lid
An insulated container having a canister can be sealed by a lid structure. The lid structure can be a multi-part insulated lid. The lid can include a vent configured to vent air from inside the canister. In addition, the container may be part of a container kit or container system where one or more inner containers, are nested and secured within the insulated container.
Sealed Can
The present invention provides a sealed can, which includes a container, a lid, a sealing member, a fixing member and a handle respectively arranged thereon. The lid is closed on the container. The sealing member is located at a bottom of the lid. The fixing member is located on the bottom surface of the sealing member. The fixing member includes an embedded hole arranged in the middle part thereof and an inlay protruding therein. The handle is located above the lid. The handle includes a protruding column arranged at the bottom thereof, a protruding body at the bottom of the protruding column, and an embedded groove arranged on the wall of the protruding body. The inlay of the fixing member and the embedded groove of the handle are snap-fitted with each other. In this way, the lid can be easily removed from the container by pulling the handle.
