Microwave packaging material
A microwave packaging material for forming a construct for holding a food item. The microwave packaging material can include a film at least partially secured to a substrate by a pattern of adhesive. A plurality of closed cells can extend between the film and the substrate, each closed cell of the plurality of closed cells can be at least partially defined by the pattern of adhesive, and each of the closed cells can be configured to expand during heating to form respective expanded cells. The microwave packaging material further can include a bonded region extending along at least a portion of the microwave packaging material. The film can be secured to the substrate along the bonded region, and the bonded region can be for forming at least one recess among the expanded cells and can be for extending along the food item when the microwave packaging material is heated.
SUSCEPTOR INK COMPOSITIONS FOR MICROWAVEABLE PACKAGES
The present invention relates to a susceptor combination comprising: metallic particles; particles of at least two or more semiconductor materials; and one or more alkaline or alkaline earth metal salts; to a susceptor ink composition containing it. It also relates to a laminate comprising a dielectric substrate and the susceptor ink composition printed on the substrate, as well as a microwaveable package comprising the laminate.
Container With Liner
A container for holding a food product. The container can comprise a flange comprising a central panel. An opening can extend in the central panel. The container further can comprise a sidewall comprising at least a panel foldably connected to the central panel and a denesting feature extending outwardly from the sidewall. The denesting feature can be for engaging a nested container positioned below the container in a stacked arrangement and for forming a denesting gap between the flange and the nested container.
Container With Liner
A container for holding a food product. The container can comprise a base layer and a liner at least partially attached to an inner surface of the base layer, a flange comprising a central panel of the base layer, an opening extending in the central panel, and a sidewall comprising at least a panel foldably connected to the central panel along the opening.
Microwave Heating Construct
Various blanks are provided for forming sleeves, containers, and other constructs for heating, browning, and/or crisping of a food item in a microwave oven, and for holding and/or transporting the food item after heating. The various blanks, sleeves, containers, and other constructs may include a removable portion defined by one or more lines of disruption that enable the removable portion to be separated from the remainder of the blank, sleeve, container, or other construct.
Microwave cooking package
Microwave cooking packages suitable for use as microwave popcorn packages include at least one panel (e.g., first and second panels) formed of a vertically rigid material. A flexible portion is attached to the panels. The flexible portion may be formed of a polyester film material such as a biaxially-oriented polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film, which may be at least partially transparent. The flexible portion (and panels) defines a bag construction configured to contain a popcorn charge and to be expandable between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration when the popcorn charge is subjected to a popping operation. The microwave cooking package may include a vent assembly configured to at least partially open when the bag configuration is in an expanded configuration to vent the bag construction. The vent assembly includes a first portion a second portion of the bag construction that is configured to be folded against the first portion.
Container structure
A container structure for sealing and keeping food fresh, which can be repacked after unpacking. The container structure has a container body and a covering film; the container body has a housing chamber, a first abutting face, a concave groove portion, a second abutting face and a preset break line; the covering film can seal the housing chamber and bond with the first and second abutting face, specifically, it is bonded to the first abutting face through the micro sealing portion, so that the bonding between the covering film and the first abutting face is weaker than the bonding between the second abutting face; To open the covering film, the user needs to apply a force upon the external edge of the top end of the container body, to break the preset break line, and to separate the covering film from the first abutting face, so as to form a separated and independent frame.
MICROWAVE FOOD PRODUCT WITH VENT FOR ROASTING
Single-use pre-packaged frozen food products are described that are configured for roasting the food product in a microwave oven. In aspects, a sealed pouch is formed from a flexible material defining a plurality of inflatable segments to create an interface between a susceptor material and the food product. One or more vents are included through the flexible material to release moisture as the food product is subjected to the microwave process while retaining enough moisture to inflate the inflatable segments to interface the susceptor with the frozen food during microwave cooking, which can facilitate roasting, crisping, browning, or otherwise cooking of the frozen food.
Microwave energy interactive pouches
A flexible microwave heating package for food includes a first panel and a second panel joined to one another in a facing relationship, and a third panel joined to the first panel and the second panel. The first panel and second panel define walls of the package and the third panel defines a base of the package. The first panel and second panel may each include microwave energy interactive material operative for reflecting at least a portion of incident microwave energy.
Microwave foodstuff package and method
Microwave foodstuff packages and methods of making and using the same. The microwave foodstuff packages include only a single gusset and/or a Z-fold configuration.
