Method and apparatus for counting and aggregating a pre-determined number of articles
A method for counting and aggregating a pre-determined number of articles includes: driving, by a conveyor, an article stream to move to an end of the conveyor in a single layer state; conveying the article stream in a periodic motion; after the articles in the article stream leave the conveyor, accurately counting the number of the articles; and when a total number of articles in a combination of temporary storage bin is the same as a target number, transporting all articles in the combination of temporary storage bin to a storage device. Article batches are separately delivered to different temporary storage bins, and the total number of articles in temporary storage bins in different combinations is calculated, so as to obtain with a combination in which the number of articles is the same as the target number. The operation efficiency is improved and the manufacturing cost of device is reduced.

MACHINE FOR TRANSFERRING ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS ONTO ELECTRONIC CARDS WITH SENSORS ALONG THE CONVEYOR
Disclosed is a machine for transferring electronic components onto electronic cards (4), including: a conveyor (1) on which the electronic cards (4) file past in succession, and sensors (3) disposed along the conveyor in such a way as to determine the position of the electronic cards (4) filing along the conveyor (1). The density of the sensors (3) along the conveyor (1) is sufficiently high such that an electronic card (4) does not leave the field of a sensor (3) before it has entered the field of another sensor (3), over at least a part of the length of the conveyor (1).
TELESCOPIC CONVEYOR WITH INTEGRATED INDEXING AND MEASURING CONVEYING MEANS
Telescopic conveyor with integrated indexing and measuring conveyor is described, the telescopic conveyor having a frame, at least one telescopic segment mounted so as to be extendable with respect to the frame and a transport conveyor, the transport conveyor is driven at a first conveying speed (v.sub.1) and is supported on the at least one telescopic segment and on the frame and wherein the indexing and measuring conveyor is arranged on a delivery side of the transport conveyor. The telescopic conveyor enables the packet items located thereon to be automatically separated while taking up as little space as possible. The indexing and measuring conveyor is mounted on the same frame and is driven at a second conveying speed (v.sub.2), the second conveying speed (v.sub.2) being greater than the first conveying speed (v.sub.1).

Method and Device for Conveying Piece Products
A method and a device are created according to the invention for conveying piece products on one or several tracks, which are arranged side by side and substantially parallel to one another, in such a manner that the products are conveyed further having been separated out from a product stream into singles on each of the tracks and then aligned at uniform spacings and/or in groups. In this case, the products are first of all fed on each track as a single-row product stream on a first conveying device at a first speed. The products are then transferred to a second conveying device, which is arranged in the conveying direction of the products behind the first conveying device and receives the products and conveys them further at a second speed which is faster than the first speed, wherein the respectively frontmost product in the product stream is accelerated when being transferred from the first conveying device to the second conveying device and, as a result, by a gap being formed in the conveying direction, is separated off from the product stream. Finally, the separated products are aligned at exactly the precise moment in time and space in the conveying direction on the second conveying device by means of an entrainment device, wherein the entrainment device cooperates with the separated product and is moved forward in the conveying direction at a speed which is proportionate to the second speed in such a manner that the entrainment device brakes the separated product or conveys it further at the second speed or accelerates it.

PNEUMATIC CONVEYING SYSTEM AND METHOD USING OPTICAL FLOW CHARACTERIZATION DATA
A method includes optically interacting a flow of bulk material or powder in a pneumatic conveyor with an integrated computational element (“ICE”) configured to modify an electromagnetic radiation according to a characteristic of the flow of bulk material or powder. The method includes detecting the modified electromagnetic radiation with a detector, producing an output signal corresponding to the characteristic of the flow, and receiving and processing the output signal with a signal processor to yield a value for the characteristic of the flow. Also, the method includes modifying at least one of a flow rate or an air pressure in the pneumatic conveyor in response to the value of the characteristic of the flow. The bulk material or powder includes a dry cement or a dry cement component.
