Apparatus extracting, from trays, bottles with mouths facing downwards includes an advancement line stopping the trays at a rest station; a handling organ; and a bottle pickup and transfer mechanism having a suction plate, with suction seats receiving and retaining the bottles internally. A frame with a housing receives and releasably retains the suction plate. The frame rotates about a first axis to a first operating position near the rest station and to a second operating position near the handling organ. Grippers and moving mechanisms pick up and move the suction plate above the tray with the seated bottles, raise the plate with the bottles, and then position the plate at the housing in the first operating position.
Robotic order consolidation using modular actuated rotary put-wall
The apparatus comprises a rotary put wall having a plurality of totes. The apparatus further comprises a vertical reciprocating conveyor (VRC) placed within the rotary put wall. The internal vertical reciprocating conveyor (VRC) comprises a plurality of chutes to receive one or more items from a robotic device. The internal vertical reciprocating conveyor (VRC) is further configured to be rotatable with respect to the rotary put wall and to convey the one or more items into one tote of the plurality of totes of the rotary put wall.
Pickup method and pickup device
A pickup method and a pickup device which enable to properly lift an individual target bag body among a plurality of conveyed bag bodies are provided. A pickup device includes: a transfer device that holds a target bag body among a plurality of bag bodies by a conveying device while the plurality of bag bodies are conveyed, and lifts a whole of the target bag body after lifting a part of the target bag body; and a pickup control unit that obtains position suggestion data indicating a position of the target bag body, and controls the transfer device on a basis of the position suggestion data, wherein the pickup control unit moves the transfer device according to the position suggestion data, and makes the transfer device liftably hold the target bag body.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANIPULATING ARTICLES
Various example embodiments described herein relate to a flipper table for manipulating an item from a first orientation to a second orientation. The flipper table includes a body rotatable about an axis. The body includes an end configured to be mechanically attached to an actuation unit. In this regard, upon an actuation of the actuation unit, the body is configured to manipulate the item. The body further defines a top surface configured to support the item positioned thereon. The body also defines at least one tab disposed on the flipper table and configured to extend relative to the top surface. Furthermore, the body of the flipper table defines one or more suction cups disposed on the top surface of the body where the one or more suction cups are configured to engage to a surface of the item positioned on the top surface.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANIPULATING ARTICLES
Various example embodiments described herein relate to an item manipulation system including a control system and a robotic arm coupled to the control system. The item manipulation system includes an end effector communicatively coupled to the control system and defines a first end and a second end. The first end of the end effector is rotatably engaged to the robotic arm. The item manipulation system also includes a gripper unit attached to the second end of the end effector. The gripper unit is configured to grip the item. The gripper unit includes at least one flexible suction cup and at least one rigid gripper. Each of the flexible suction cup and the at least one rigid gripper engage a surface of the item based on vacuum suction force generated through the at least one flexible suction cup or the at least one rigid gripper.
Gripper for a picking device
A gripper for a picking device for small piece goods is provided. The gripper includes a delivery table extending in a first horizontal direction and a second horizontal direction orthogonal to the first horizontal direction, a gripping jaw guide assembly having two gripping jaws extending in the first horizontal direction over the delivery table, wherein at least one of the gripping jaws is movable in the second horizontal direction, and a drive unit which is coupled to the gripping jaw guide assembly and configured to move the gripping jaw guide assembly in the first horizontal direction. At least one of the gripping jaws is configured as a suction jaw and has a suction device having a suction surface for suctioning a small piece good, wherein a vacuum can be applied on the suction device using a suction line.
COMMISSIONING SYSTEM AND VEHICLE FOR PICKING ARTICLES FROM STORAGE SUPPORTS OF THE PALLET TYRE AND FOR ORGANIZING THEM ON A COMMISSIONING SUPPORT OF THE PALLET TYPE
A commissioning system allows articles to be picked from storage supports of the pallet type and to be organized on a commissioning support. The system includes a plurality of compartments distributed beside at least one lane, and which compartments are provided in order to receive respective storage supports of the pallet type for stored articles. The system also includes at least one commissioning vehicle provided to transport at least one commissioning support of the pallet type. The vehicle can move along the lane in order to pick a selection of articles with a picking apparatus configured to position, on the commissioning support, the articles which are picked, organizing them in order to form an ordered and stacked grouping.
PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR FEEDING A FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE PROCESSOR
A plate processing line and methods for producing a flexographic printing plate. An imaging station applies image information to a first plate. A first exposure station cures the first plate. One or more of water, a solvent, and/or a thermal process is further applied to the first plate. A drying station or an after-exposure station is configured to expose the plate to further radiation. A feeding station is configured to feed the first plate cured by the exposure station and a second plate cured by a second exposure station to the processing station. A transportation cart may transport the plate between the first or second exposure stations and the processing station.
TRANSFER UNIT AND METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING BLISTER PACKS
Blister packs in a first and a second pick position are arranged one behind the other in a longitudinal row, which is parallel to a longitudinal center plane of the transfer unit and which extends in an area of the longitudinal center plane. The first blister pack in the first pick position is picked, moved, and placed in the first place position from above. The second blister pack in the second pick position is also picked, moved, and placed in the second place position from above. The blister packs in the first and second place positions are arranged with a lateral offset relative to the longitudinal center plane, and the blister packs in the first and second place positions are rotated 180 around their centers in comparison to their orientation in the first and second pick positions.
