Sanitizing an agricultural facility by placing a chamber having an open interior within the agricultural facility. An item is placed within an open interior of the chamber and a door is interlocked. Then light having a spectral content within a narrow range of wavelengths is provided from at least one lighting device toward the item for a predetermined amount of time to inactivate a microorganism. Simultaneously, ozone may be discharged into the open interior to sanitize the item. Before the door unlocks the ozone within the interior of the chamber is directed to a filter for forming oxygen. The device can include a UV transmissive material that provides disinfection of hard to reach surfaces or areas safely. The appliance disinfection device can include an automatic interlock to protect a user from UV exposure. The optics used for the UV disinfection allow the device to become a human interface. The device can be connected to the appliance control system which can be connected to a network and cloud interface.

COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF PRODUCING DE-FLAVORED PEPPERCORN
Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for de-flavoring a peppercorn, whole or ground, that minimize piperine, a naturally occurring alkaloid imparting pungency, that minimize volatile oils imparting aroma, and that retain most of the naturally occurring metabolic micronutrients. A method is also disclosed that includes contacting a peppercorn with one or more oils thereby producing a de-flavored peppercorn.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF PRODUCING DE-FLAVORED PEPPERCORN
Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for de-flavoring a peppercorn, whole or ground, that minimize piperine, a naturally occurring alkaloid imparting pungency, that minimize volatile oils imparting aroma, and that retain most of the naturally occurring metabolic micronutrients. A method is also disclosed that includes contacting a peppercorn with one or more oils thereby producing a de-flavored peppercorn.
Room and area disinfection utilizing pulsed light
Room and/or area disinfection apparatuses are provided which generate pulses of germicidal light at a frequency greater than 3 Hz and project the pulses of light exterior to the disinfection apparatuses. In some cases, the apparatuses include an occupancy sensor for determining presence of an individual in a region extending at least 1.0 meter from the disinfection apparatus and processor executable program instructions for inhibiting and terminating the generation of light from the light source upon the occupancy sensor detecting presence of an individual. In addition or alternatively, the apparatuses may include wheels to affect portability of the apparatus. In some cases, the apparatuses may additionally or alternatively include an actuator for moving the light source relative to a support structure of the disinfection apparatus and processor executable program instructions for activating the actuator while the light source is emitting light.
