PROCESSING SYSTEM AND DEVICE MANUFACTURING METHOD
A processing system and a device manufacturing method that can perform manufacturing of an electronic device without stopping the entire manufacturing system, even when the processing state actually implemented on a sheet substrate by a processing device differs from the target processing state. A processing system for sequentially conveying a long, flexible sheet substrate along a length direction to each of a first through a third processing device to form a predetermined pattern on the sheet substrate, wherein the first through the third processing devices implement a predetermined process relating to the sheet substrate according to setting conditions set to each processing device, and when at least one from among the states of the actual processing implemented on the sheet substrate by each of the first through the third processing devices exhibits a processing error relative to a target processing state, changes other setting conditions, separate from the setting conditions exhibiting the processing error, according to the processing error.
RECORDING APPARATUS
Meandering of a medium at a time of transporting is reduced. A recording apparatus which transports medium, and performs recording on the medium, the apparatus includes a recording unit; a medium clamping unit which is provided on a side further upstream than the recording unit in a transport direction, and clamps the medium therebetween; and a medium support unit which is provided on the side further upstream than the medium clamping unit in the transport direction, and supports the medium, in which the medium is slackened between the medium clamping unit and the medium support unit.
AUTOMATED GARMENT MANUFACTURING USING CONTINUOUS WEBS OF FABRIC
Embodiments herein describe automated systems and methods to assemble a garment, such as a T-shirt. Some embodiments provide for systems and methods for transferring and manipulating fabrics and joining garment components during garment manufacturing in a way that is more suitable to automation. Some embodiments provide for garment manufacturing systems and methods that are reconfigurable to enable both mass production of customized garments and small batch processing with reduced human intervention.
PACKAGING MACHINE FOR PRODUCING A PACKAGING, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
The invention relates to a packaging machine for producing a packaging (20) from a paper-containing web material (2) and a covering web (3), comprising a first pre-tensioning device (4) for pre-tensioning and stretching the web material (2) in a transport direction (16) of the web material, a second pre-tensioning device (5) for pre-tensioning and stretching the web material (2) in a second direction (17) transverse to the transport direction (16), a shaping device (6) for producing a depression (21) in the web material (2), wherein the depression (21) is designed to receive a filler, a filling device (7) which fills filler into the depression (21), a covering web device which provides the covering web (3) in order to provide a cover (31) for the depression (21), a fixing device (10) which fixes the covering web (3) on the web material (2), and a discharge device (8) which discharges the produced packaging out of the packaging machine.
Base material processing apparatus and base material processing method
A base material processing apparatus includes a transport mechanism, a mark detector, and a calculating unit. The transport mechanism transports an elongated strip-shaped base material in a longitudinal direction thereof along a predetermined transport path. The mark detector acquires a detection result by detecting a mark continuously at a detecting position on the transport path. The mark is applied previously to an end of the base material in a width direction thereof. The calculating unit calculates a transport speed of the base material, the amount of positional deviation of the base material in a transport direction, and tension on the base material applied in the transport direction on the basis of the detection result and information about the mark applied previously to the base material.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROCESSING A COVER OF A PACKAGE
The present invention relates to a method for processing a covering roll sheet (20) of a package, wherein the covering roll sheet (20) covers a package body (51) in the manner of a lid, comprising the steps of: drawing the covering roll sheet (20) off an endless roll (22), tensioning the covering roll sheet (20), determining an offset between a first marking on the covering roll sheet (20) and a second marking (34) on the package body (51), and stretching the covering roll sheet (20) in a manner dependent on the determined offset between the first marking (33) and the second marking (34).
PACKAGING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SEALED PACKAGES
A packaging machine includes a conveying device for advancing a packaging material web at least to a tube forming station at which the web is formed into a tube and for advancing the tube to a tube forming and sealing device to form and longitudinally seal the tube, a tensioning device to control tension of the web and/or of the tube and a control unit to control operation of the packaging machine. The tensioning device has at least one tensioning assembly having at least first and second drive rollers, a first drive motor connected to the first drive roller to rotate the first drive roller and a second drive motor connected to the second drive roller to rotate the second drive roller. The control unit controls the first and second drive motors such that a free loop of the web expands and/or advances between the first and second drive rollers.
Calibration determination device and calibration determination method for calibrating the tension of a bonding member
A calibration determination device includes: a free roll that conveys the bonding member; a load detection device that detects a load applied to a bearing of the free roll; a tension adjustment device that winds the bonding member to increase a tension applied to the bonding member and unwinds the bonding member to reduce the tension applied to the bonding member so as to adjust the tension applied to the bonding member; and a calibration determination unit that determines whether calibration of the load detection device is necessary. The tension adjustment device unwinds the bonding member to cause the bonding member not to be subjected to the tension, and the calibration determination unit determines whether the calibration of the load detection device is necessary based on the load detected by the load detection device with the bonding member not being subjected to the tension.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A first conveyor conveys a print medium in a conveyance direction from a holder toward a print head and in a return direction opposite to the conveyance direction. A tensioner applies back tension to the print medium between the holder and the first conveyor. A first motor drives the first conveyor. The controller controls the print head and the first motor. The controller performs a correction process of controlling the first motor to repeat a first conveyance and a second conveyance sequentially a plurality of times. The first conveyance is conveying the print medium in the conveyance direction in a state where the back tension is applied to the print medium by the tensioner. The second conveyance is conveying the print medium in the return direction in a state where the back tension is not applied to the print medium by the tensioner.
