A portable lightweight sun blocking shade system designed to provide freedom of movement under the shaded area, with a fast deployment and a safe fabric release under high wind conditions. To make shade over a desired area, position the holder apparatus to block sun, suspend the closed umbrella shade apparatus at the overhead hanger, open the suspended umbrella with a simple vertical lift of the lower handle to lock at the center shaft. To store shade, simply unlock the open umbrella with a push of the handle button, allow gravity to lower the handle, and remove the closed shade from the hanger. The holder apparatus can be left in place, or quickly removed for complete shade system storage.

The invention disclosed herein comprises an apparatus and method of use for holding, locking and transporting fishing rods on the exterior of a vehicle. The apparatus is easily and removably attached to a standard and commercially available trailer hitch. The invention is modular and adjustable; the number of rods carried can be changed, and the orientation in which the rods are mounted and transported can rotate between a vertical and horizontal configuration. A fishing net support system includes a boat mount configured to be mounted onto a boat hull. A linkage is attached to the boat mount. A receiver can receive a pole of a fishing net. The receiver is mounted on the linkage, such that the linkage allows pivoting between the boat mount and the receiver within a vertical plane.

A tubular reel seat for fishing rod includes a tubular movable hood and a trigger. The tubular movable hood is disposed on a front side of the reel seat, and includes a hood portion configured to cover a front-end portion of a reel foot of the fishing rod. The trigger is disposed in part of a circumference of an outer circumferential surface of the movable hood on an opposite side of the hood portion, the trigger is configured to be hooked by a finger from the front side.
