FISHING ROD HOLDER SYSTEM
A fishing rod holder system for easily transporting, storing, and/or using fishing rods, including one or more rod holding members mounted to a frame. The one or more rod holding members can be attachable/detachable and swivelable/rotatable about a receiving member. In some embodiments, the positions of the one or more rod holding members can be fixed or adjustable with respect to the frame. Further, the rod holding members are substantially hollow tubes for receiving the handle of a fishing rod, wherein the rod holding members may include various configurations of notches and/or slots for engaging with the fishing rod/reel.

System for recording and replaying jigging sequences
A system comprises a rod holder, an input device, a driving device, and a controller. The rod holder holds one or more fishing rods. The driving device is coupled to drive the rod holder. The controller controls the driving device to move the rod holder based on stored rod movement information, based on a random generated movement sequence, or based on real time user input. In operation, the input device receives rod movement information that indicates at least one characteristic of rod movement, including position, timing, direction, angle, or speed. During recording of a jigging sequence, the controller stores rod movement information as stored rod movement information. During replaying of a jigging sequence, the controller controls the rod holder based on the stored rod movement information. The sequence is repeated until the user stops the replaying. The system is optionally controlled to perform a random jigging sequence.

Lighted fishing pole holder
A lighted fishing pole holder has a top mount that is attached to the gunwale in the usual way, the top mount having an upper surface, a lower surface seated on the gunwale and a central opening. The top mount has a fishing pole receiving tube member depending downwardly therefrom. The tube member has a base such that a light element is positioned on the base, either atop or embedded therein, the light elements facing toward the central opening. The light element is connected to the boat's electrical system or to a battery and issues light into the tube member which is directed out through the central opening of the top mount. A remote control can control various operations of the light element.

AN ANGLING DEVICE
An angling device comprising a housing arranged with an arm with a pivot to the housing at a proximal end and a line capture jaw at a distal end, a location means for location of the line capture jaw in use on a line of an angling rod, and a mechanism for pivoting the arm from a second position where the line capture jaw locates on the line in a second location on the rod, to a first position where the line capture jaw locates on the line in a first location on the rod, wherein the mechanism is activated automatically after movement of the line to the second location on the rod.

Support frame
A support frame may be mounted to a corresponding support platform. The support frame may include an elongate rigid column including a proximal end and a distal end opposite the proximal end. A platen bracket may be connected to the elongate rigid column nearer the proximal end than the distal end. A support platen may be connected to the platen bracket. A flanged sleeve may be coaxially received on the elongate rigid column nearer the distal end than the proximal end. The flanged sleeve may include a sleeve portion slidably received on the elongate rigid column and a mounting flange extending from the sleeve portion. The mounting flange may be configured to interface with the support platform. A guide sleeve may be coaxially received on the elongate rigid column between the platen bracket and the flanged sleeve. The guide sleeve may be configured to maintain the platen bracket and the flanged sleeve in a spaced apart orientation when the support frame is mounted to the corresponding support platform.
