A spool apparatus is described to include in one particular example a cable spool with a first cylindrical lip and a second cylindrical lip on an opposite side of the cable spool. A center of the spool includes a clutch bearing in the center of both the first cylindrical lip and the second cylindrical lip that provides a rotational axis for the cable spool to rotate around. The apparatus may also include a feed slot near the first cylindrical lip that provides a passage for cable to pass from the second cylindrical lip to the first cylindrical lip.

LOCKING MODULE OF WIRE AUTO-WINDING DEVICE

A locking module of a wire auto-winding device includes a first case having a coupling projection formed thereon; a rotating piece inserted over the coupling projection of the first case in order to be rotated clockwise or counterclockwise; a button member coupled to the rotating piece and being slid in a first direction to rotate the rotating piece by means of a button operation; a stopper member coupled to the rotating piece to be slid in a second direction by means of the rotation of the rotating piece; a resilient spring for pushing and returning one of the button member or the stopper member in the opposite direction; and a second case fastened to the first case to form a component receiving space therein.

A coiling device on which a rope, extension cord, or other materials can be coiled. A coiling device allows for additional tools to be included and/or coupled to it. A coiling device that can be coupled to a shaft, whether telescopic or otherwise. A coiling device that can be coupled to a shaft via a clamp.

Magnetic band and associated methods thereof

A magnetic band that is made of elastomeric resin material with magnets deposed therein is disclosed. The magnetic band optionally contains wires and also optionally contains holes at each end that may have grommets inserted into the holes. The magnetic band is used for a plurality of purposes including its ability to hold metallic magnetic items.

Extension and retraction device and method

An extension and retraction device including a housing and a slip ring mounted within the housing. The slip ring includes a stator and rotor rotatably mounted therein. The rotor includes rotor leads and annular sections defined circumferentially around the rotor. Each rotor lead includes opposite ends with one end electrically connected to one of the annular sections. The stator includes a contact for each annular section in sliding electrical engagement with the annular section. Each contact includes a stator lead having one end electrically connected to the stator and another end extending out of an opening of the housing. A reel is mounted within the housing with the reel and rotor rotatable about a substantially common axis. A cord extending through another opening of the housing is retracted into the housing when the reel rotates in one direction, and the cord is extended from the housing when the cord is pulled and the reel rotates in the opposite direction.

WIRE-SHAPED BODY WINDING MECHANISM AND MOTION PLATFORM HAVING THE SAME

A wire-shaped body winding mechanism provided by the present invention includes multiple rotary shafts for winding a wire-shaped body, where a main shaft member serves as a revolution central shaft and two split shaft members serve as rotation central shafts. The wire-shaped body is wound on the split shaft members and thus can be coiled or released with rotation of the main shaft member. Relative movement between the split shaft members and the wire-shaped body is realized through rotation of the split shaft members, and thus the wire-shaped body can move smoothly.

Cord storage device

A cord storage device has a base member with two sides, and a plug receptacle extending from one side. The plug receptacle anchors a plug end of an electronic device cord and forms a core about which the cord can be wound. A flexible retaining wall is coupled to the base member and moves between a closed position on the one side and an open position on the other side of the base member. In the closed position, an annular space is formed for the wound cord.

Wireless sound equipment

There is disclosed a wireless sound equipment includes a case; a first holder and a second holder provided in both sides of the case, respectively; a first receiver and a second receiver coupled to and decoupled from the first holder and the second holder, respectively; a first winding device gear rotatably mounted in the case, the first winding device comprising a first gear formed in an outer circumference; a second winding device rotatably mounted in the case, the second winding device comprising a second gear formed in an outer circumference to engage with the first gear; a first audio cable connected between the first receiver and the first winding device to be wound around the circumference of the first winding device; and a second audio cable connected between the second receiver and the second winding device to be wound around the circumference of the second winding device.

System for coiling electrical cable for electric vehicle charging
09908422 · 2018-03-06 · ·

A system for coiling an electrical cable employed for charging an electric vehicle employs a cable management system. The cable management system has a drive assembly which has a drive mode that retracts the cable and release mode which allows for the cable to be extended. The installation employs a drum having a cylindrical sidewall. The drive assembly drives the cable downwardly into a drum so that the cable progressively engages the sidewall to form a vertical coiled configuration. A clutch assembly cooperates with the drive assembly to provide the automatic retracting and extending operations and also locks the vehicle connector at the end of the electrical cable in an extended position as well as a retracted home position.

Cable storage spool with center feed

A telecommunications cable spool for storing, paying-out, and reeling-in a telecommunications cable includes a spool, an axis of rotation, and a rotatable cable guide mounted about the axis. The spool defines a wrapping area that receives a plurality of wraps of the cable and defines a circumference. The axis passes through the spool within the circumference. The guide defines a rotating cable guide path with a first end adjacent the wrapping area and a second end positioned near the axis. The first end of the path is oriented at least partially tangential to the circumference, and the second end of the path is oriented at least partially aligned with the axis. The cable is routed along a cable route that extends between first and second ends with a storage portion between the ends of the route. The route includes a transitional portion along the guide path between the storage portion and the second end of the route. A portion of the transitional portion is routed through a center of the storage portion. A deployed portion of the cable is paid-out from the second end of the cable route.
