The driving mechanism is configured to drive the rotation shaft to translate along the two grooves according to a retractable state of the flexible screen, so that the portion of the flexible screen unwound from the rotation shaft extends along a first direction, wherein the second direction is perpendicular to a central axis direction of the rotation shaft.

A detachable line guide is disclosed. A screw with a helical groove between threads is provided. A guide is positioned a fixed distance perpendicular to the screw and can travel laterally freely. A follower mount is detachably affixed to the guide. The follower mount has a follower that is biased into the groove. Rotation of the screw causes the follower to track the groove and move the follower mount laterally. The guide is configured for a line to pass therethrough. When the line exerts a lateral force above a predetermined threshold against the guide, the guide and the follower mount detach.

A cord reel apparatus includes a circular plate configured to rotate in response to pulling out or rewinding of a cord, a guide groove on the circular plate, a sensor member having a first protrusion which is slidable in the guide groove, a top plate facing the circular plate with the sensor member sandwiched therebetween, a second protrusion provided on the sensor member and projecting in a direction toward the circular plate, and a first pressing portion provided on the sensor member and disposed in a direction toward the top plate. When the first protrusion is closest to a bottom surface of the guide groove, the second protrusion is not in contact with the circular plate. When the first protrusion rides on a wall surface of the guide groove, the first pressing portion is in contact with the top plate, so that the second protrusion contacts the circular plate.

Reel based lacing system

A lacing system configured to selectively adjust the size of an opening on an object and allow for the incremental release of the lace within the lacing system. The lacing system can have a reel comprising a housing, a spool supported by the housing, and a knob supported by the housing. The reel can be configured so that cable is gathered in the channel formed in the spool when the spool is rotated in a first direction relative to the housing, and so that cable can be incrementally released from the spool when the spool is rotated in a second direction relative to the housing. In some embodiments, the reel can include a rotation limiter which can be configured to prevent over-tightening of the lacing system and/or to prevent rotation past the substantially fully loosened state.

Cord reel assembly with continuous cord

A cord reel assembly including a single, continuous cord having stationary and retractable segments, with the stationary segment including multiple connectors and sheath covering such connectors where the connectors twist and untwist relative to the sheath in response to the retract and extension of the retractable segment.

Electronically controlled reel systems including electric motors

A reel assembly for deploying a cable, hose or umbilical connection may include an electronic control unit that may operate to control an electric motor that drives the reel assembly. The electric motor may include a closed-loop feedback control system. A sheave that redirects the direction of the cable, hose or umbilical connection may include sensors that may measure various parameters, such as a measured line tension, and transmit the measured data to the electronic control unit. The electronic control unit may, based on received sensor data, automatically direct the operation of the reel assembly. Optionally, the sensor data and/or user control inputs and system status information may be logged. The system also may use this data to control the system, such as by activating an alarm when a certain alarm limit is exceeded by the data, adjusting parameters of the drive, and the like.

The invention concerns line guide devices, for example energy guide chains (31, 51), having a movement sensor. An aspect concerns a movement sensor (10; 20) including a bearing having a first component, for example a guide (11; 21) of a linear bearing, and a second component moveable relative thereto, for example a longitudinally displaceable slider (12; 22), and at least one pick-up (13, 14; 23, 24) whose output signal depends on the relative position of both components. The movement sensor (10; 20) can be arranged with the first component at the connecting location to be supplied and with the second component at the moveable end of the line guide device, or vice-versa. A further aspect concerns an apparatus (30; 40) for winding up and unwinding a line guide device. A rotatable drum (32; 42) for winding up and unwinding the line guide device has a drum drive (38; 48). A sensor unit (35; 45) is arranged at the load-side end region (52B) of the line guide device, for detecting a movement parameter. A control unit (36; 46) connected to the sensor unit (35; 45) controls the drum drive. Both aspects are suitable inter alia for shore power supply.

A hose reel includes a frame, a reel rotatably arranged within the frame and a rewind mechanism with a spring. A removable lid is attached to the frame and encloses an inside of the hose reel from all directions to prevent a user of the hose reel from accessing the inside of the hose reel. An axle is rotatable in relation to the reel. A first end of the spring is attached to the reel and a second end of the spring is attached to the axle. The axle has an outer end connected to the lid to prevent mutual rotation between the lid and the outer end in a direction which decreases the spring force of the spring.
