A printer includes housing having reel mounted therein to support paper roll and paper exit formed in front panel thereof, printing mechanism positioned in the housing and printing head for printing an ink on the sheet of paper, paper cutter for cutting the sheet of paper and paper path defined between the printing head and the paper cutter for the passing of the leading end of the sheet of paper, and paper dispensing mechanism positioned in the housing, which includes drive module and paper dispensing roller set drivable by the drive module to carry the sheet of paper toward the paper exit. The paper dispensing roller set has two rollers made of a flexible and elastic material and pressed against each other. The distance between the center of the two rollers is less than the combination of the radius of the two rollers.

A print medium feeding device removes a second sheet from a print medium that is in a state in which a first sheet, the second sheet, a the third sheet are superposed, superposes the first sheet and the third sheet, and feeds the first sheet and the third sheet to a printing device. The print medium feeding device includes: a first roller configured to come into contact with the third sheet and to be driven to rotate by movement of the third sheet; a second roller configured to come into contact with the first sheet and to be driven to rotate by movement of the first sheet; a roll-up member disposed upstream of the first roller and configured to roll up the second sheet; and a transmission mechanism configured to transmit a rotational force of the first roller to the roll-up member.

A handle applicator includes controller that receives signals concerning marks on an endless band. The contact body moves along a continuum of positions between the release position and the drawing position based on actual position data indicative of actual positions of position markings on the handle.

A printing device includes: a feeding tray on which a sheet can be mounted; a first conveying passage; an image forming unit disposed along the first conveying passage and configured to record an image on the sheet; a cutting unit disposed along the first conveying passage downstream of the image recording unit and configured to cut the sheet; a second conveying passage connected to the first conveying passage; and a controller configured to perform: conveying the sheet mounted on the feeding tray to the image recording unit; recording an image on the sheet by the image recording unit; cutting the recorded sheet at a cutting position on the sheet to divide the sheet into a first sheet on which the image has been recorded and a second sheet on which the image has not been recorded; discharging the first sheet; and conveying the second sheet to the second conveying passage.

The method relates to tape connecting device (1) and a method for connecting a first tape to a second tape for providing a tape string. PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a stacking portion on which a print medium printed by a printing unit configured to perform printing is stacked, a discharge unit configured to convey the print medium printed by the printing unit to the stacking portion, a passage forming portion arranged above the stacking portion so as to face the stacking portion and configured to form a discharge passage of the print medium together with the stacking portion, and an outlet port located in a downstream end of the discharge passage in a conveying direction of the print medium. In the outlet port, the passage forming portion extends to the downstream side of the stacking portion in the conveying direction.
