Fish receptacle
A fish receptacle. The fish receptacle includes a container having a hinged lid with a door assembly providing access to an interior of the container. The door assembly enables users to engage a fish, hands free, thereby enabling users to manipulate the fish and subsequently store it in the interior of the container without utilizing their hands. The door assembly includes an aperture and a frame therearound, wherein the aperture provides access to the interior of the container. The frame includes a track having rails and slot, wherein a sliding member is slidably disposed. The sliding member is movable between a closed position and an open position along the track, thereby enabling the sliding door assembly to be opened to expose the aperture and/or closed onto a fish to pin it against a wall of the frame for hands free manipulation.
Device for removing a fish from a line
The present invention relates to a device for removing a fish from a line. The fish removing device has a generally U-shaped portion that extends into an elongated straight section. The straight section bends into a gripping section, which in one embodiment includes a first and second gripping member. After a fish is caught with a hook on a fishing line, the fishing line is caught in the U-shaped portion and slid down to the hook. The fishing line is then positioned horizontally between a first hand and the fish removing device held in a second hand. The fish is rotated on the fishing line, which applies rotational and gravitational force to the fish thereby dislodging the hook from the fish without having the user coming into physical contact with the fish.

Fishhook remover aid
One embodiment of the invention is a fishhook remover aid 100 that has a base 102 and a cover 170. The base 102 is longer than the cover 170. When reeling in a fish, an angler may first insert a fishing line 138 through a space 120 located on top portions 112, 114 of the cover 170. The fish is then urged along the base 102 and into the cover 170. Opposing rounded sides 108, 110 of the cover 170 are flexible, allowing the angler to grasp the fishhook remover aid with sufficient pressure on the fish to remove the fishhook 138 without damaging the fish in the process. The safe swift removal of the fishhook without the need for an angler's hand to come into direct contact with the fish thus occurs. The fishhook remover aid 100 has a built in ruler 134 located on the base 102 for measuring a length of the fish while the angler removes the fishhook.

Fish culling clip
A self-tightening culling clip used to secure a marker to a fish for quick identification of the fish in a livewell, for example. The self-tightening culling clip has handles coupled together about a handle pivot and a marker attached to a lift-pivot. A spring forces the jaw end of the handles together and a user may squeeze the handle end of the handles to open the jaws for attaching to a fish. When the marker is lifted, the handles pivot about the handle-pivot to apply force to close the jaws, thereby creating a self-tightening culling clip. A pair of links extend from the lift pivot to the handles and these links for the handle end of the handles outward when the marker is lifted. The marker may have a distinctive identifier color and/or character.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A FISHHOOK REMOVER
Embodiments disclosed herein describe systems and methods for a device configured to reverse the direction of a fish hook up to two hundred degrees deep within a fish's gullet. This may allow the hook to be extracted without a barb of the hook re-engaging itself into the fish's tissue, as well as without the fisherman inserting their hand into the fish's mouth.
