CORE FOR COILED SHEET METAL, MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND METHOD FOR PACKAGING COILS
A hollow cylindrical core (1), e.g. paperboard core, for coiled sheet metal (5), the core (1) being made from at least one ply of material wound into the shape of a tube, the core having an outer circumferential surface (2), an inner circumferential surface (3) and a cavity (4) inside the core (1) which is defined by the inner circumferential surface (3), and the core (1) being open at least at one end, wherein the core (1) is provided with a volatile corrosion inhibitor inside the cavity (4).
Protective barrier coating and ink
A paperboard carrier suitable for use with textiles may include one or more strips of paperboard secured together to form a hollow tubular body, the body having an outer surface, and a coating covering some or all of the outer surface. The coating comprises a coating agent such as a silicon resin dispersed in a solvent such as isopropyl alcohol and little or no water. The coating may be applied to the outer surface by using a plurality spray nozzles arranged axially or circumferentially about the carrier.
REINFORCED WOOD FIBER CORE
A winding core with improved beam and hoop strength and diminished friability and method for manufacturing such a core are provided, the winding core comprising: an extruded wood fiber core member; and at least one preformed paper shell member having a split seam parallel to its major axis, the shell being adhered to an exterior surface of the extruded wood fiber core member and a secondary shell of wooden staves.

Tubular Core for Tissue Paper Rolls and Method for the Production of Such a Tubular Core
The tubular core (1) for tissue paper rolls consists of at least one tape (10) of tissue paper with one or more spirally wound tapes, such that the pitch of the winding helix is much smaller than the width of the tape (10) itself, so that two consecutive coils (S) are partially overlapped. In the tubular core (1) there may be several tissue paper tapes (10) wound simultaneously in relative helical coils preferably offset along the longitudinal axis of the same tubular core (1). The coils (S) of each tape (10), in the areas in which they are partially overlapped, are mutually fixed by means of an adhesive film (2) interposed between them. The adhesive film (2) is preferably continuous according to the winding direction of the coils (S) themselves. The presence of said adhesive films (2) produces a solid connection between the helical coils (S) and confers the necessary structural resistance to the tubular core (1) to receive, for wrapping on it, a tissue paper roll for hygienic use or domestic or other tape material.
Paper-made reel
A paper-made reel includes an impeller-like winding drum made of paper, and flange plates made of paper attached to one end and the other end of the winding drum, the winding drum includes a hollow shaft portion core, and a plurality of blade portions extending in radial directions from the shaft portion core, the shaft portion core and the blade portions are integrally formed by folding a sheet, the blade portions are formed in a state where the sheet is double-folded, and the winding drum and the flange plates are connected to each other by locking locking pieces formed at both ends of the winding drum to the flange plates.
Spool assembly and method of assembly
A spool configured to support a roll of material. The spool comprises an arbor, a first flange, and a second flange. The first flange includes a first plurality of flange panels that are rotatably connected to respective arbor panels of the arbor at a first arbor edge of the arbor. The second flange is connected to a second arbor edge of the arbor. The first flange is configured to transition between a retention configuration and an open configuration. In the retention configuration, the roll of material is substantially prevented from removal from the arbor along an arbor axis by the first and second flanges. In the open configuration, the roll of material is removable from the arbor and receivable on the arbor in the arbor direction.

Coreless roll and a manufacturing method
A coreless roll of absorbent sheet products is made of a spirally wound web of absorbent substrate including at least two superposed plies of absorbent substrate, the web of absorbent substrate being wound such as to define an axial hollow passageway centrally positioned relatively to the coreless roll and extending from one edge to another edge of the coreless roll. The web of absorbent substrate further includes a stiffening insert, the stiffening insert being inserted in-between two superposed plies of absorbent substrate, the stiffening insert being positioned such as to line the axial hollow passageway, the stiffening insert having a length such that the stiffening insert extends at least around three quarter of a circumference of the passageway, preferably substantially completely around a circumference of the passageway.
Core with Improved Chuck Interaction
An improved core for mounting on one or more core engaging elements such as a pair of chucks and a method of making an improved core are provided. The core is adapted to wind and unwind material thereon. The core comprises a high coefficient of friction coating disposed on the inner surface of the core to improve core-chuck interaction.
