Control panel with accessibility wheel
The invention concerns a control panel for an elevator system, the panel having an electronic control unit to which a touch sensitive screen as an interface available to a user is connected, the touch screen having incorporated a user accessibility-wheel which is felt haptic for the user, wherein an elevator command can be entered by means of the accessibility-wheel.
HYBRID FLOOR TERMINAL FOR AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM
The invention relates to a floor terminal for an elevator system in a building, comprising an elevator operating terminal and a wireless network device. The elevator operating terminal has a user interface for calling an elevator cabin, an elevator data interface for communicating data with an elevator controller, and a processing device which is coupled to the user interface and the elevator data interface. The wireless network device has a wireless transceiver for communicating with a communication device, a data interface for communicating data with the network access point, and a processing device coupled to the wireless transceiver and the data interface. By using such a floor terminal, a building can be equipped with additional functionality with relatively little installation effort during a redevelopment process.
ELEVATOR OPERATION CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD USING MONITOR
A device for controlling an operation of an elevator by using a monitor comprises: a monitor, which is installed on a wall surface of a cage of an elevator, a surface of a door of the elevator, or a wall surface of a building next to the door of the elevator, displays various buttons including a start button, an emergency button, and floor buttons controlling an operation of the elevator, and includes an embedded speaker; two pin cameras positioned at upper left and right sides of the monitor, respectively; and a controller, which controls operations of the various buttons of the monitor, an operation of the pin camera, and the operation of the elevator.
ELEVATOR CALL INPUT DEVICE
A call input device of an elevator includes a keyboard for inputting the number of a floor and a keyboard control for the keyboard. The keyboard control is configured to open an input channel from the keyboard for the input of a further digit of a floor number to enter a more than one-digit floor number. The call input device includes a proximity sensor having a sensing area in front of the keyboard. The keyboard control is configured to open/close the input channel from the keyboard for the input of a further digit in response to the signal of the proximity sensor.
System and method of initiating elevator service by graphical objects
The present disclosure relates generally to a system and method of initiating elevator service by entering an elevator call with a call input device operating a program including a preferred landing graphical object comprising at least one floor designation graphical objects displayed on a graphic user interface, in communication with an elevator system. The method includes the steps: selecting a current floor graphical object from the preferred landing graphical object, and selecting a destination floor graphical object from the preferred landing graphical object.
ELEVATOR OPERATING PANEL
The invention relates to an elevator operating panel comprising at least one touchscreen panel with first touch screen areas being linked to first capacitive touch screen sensor, which touchscreen panel has a second touch screen area which is linked to the first touch screen sensor as well as to an additional second touch screen sensor, which second sensor is configured to be connected to a backup power supply.
Systems and methods for generating and configuring content of elevator destination dispatch kiosks
A computer-implemented method for generating and configuring content of an elevator destination dispatch kiosk. The kiosk includes a display. The method includes creating a kiosk database having kiosk data. The kiosk data outlines a plurality of destination floors associated with the elevator destination dispatch kiosk. The method comprises the step of using a computing structure remote from the elevator destination dispatch kiosk to automatically: (a) access the kiosk data in the kiosk database, and (b) generate a floor button layout. The method includes the step of communicating the floor button layout from the computing structure to the elevator destination dispatch kiosk to cause the floor button layout to be published on the display. An interface of the computing structure allows the floor button layout to be previewed before the floor button layout is communicated from the computing structure to the elevator destination dispatch kiosk.
ELEVATOR OPERATING DEVICE FOR AN ELEVATOR INSTALLATION WITH DESTINATION CALL CONTROL
An elevator installation in a building includes an elevator control, an elevator car actuated by the elevator control to displace between floors of the building by a drive machine, and elevator operating devices arranged on the floors and connected to the elevator control. One of the elevator operating devices has a control device and a visual display unit, the control device receiving data for an optical code and a floor indicator from the elevator control to control the visual display unit according to the data for the optical code. The visual display unit displays the optical code in a display field. The control device controls the visual display unit to display a floor indicator in the display field, detect a touch of the optical code in the display field by a user and, upon a touch detection, generate an elevator call to a floor represented by the floor indicator.
Handwriting input for elevator destination floor input
A method includes receiving, by a computing device including a processor, a handwriting input including a selection of a destination floor associated with an elevator system, determining, by the computing device, that the handwriting input selection is recognizable, presenting, by the computing device, a message that requests confirmation that the input selection is interpreted correctly based on determining that the handwriting input selection is recognizable, receiving, by the computing device, a response to the message that confirms the input selection, and causing, by the computing device, the elevator system to provide access to the destination floor based on the response.
