METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING AUTOMATIC CLOSING FUNCTION OF A FLOOR DOOR
20250145415 · 2025-05-08 ·

A method and device for detecting an automatic closing function of a landing door, an elevator system and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium. In the method for detecting the automatic closing function of the landing door, when a car of an elevator system stops at one of a plurality of floors, a car door of the car and a landing door associated with one of the plurality of floors are opened. Subsequently, during a closing process of the landing door, a drive mechanism of the elevator system is caused to apply a balanced driving force to the car door of the car. The balanced driving force corresponds to resistance to which the car door is subjected. Next, it is determined whether the associated landing door can be closed normally within a preset time period since the start of applying the balanced driving force to the car door.

Provided is an operation setting device for an elevator door device, which includes: a door type selection part that selects opening types of a car door; a speed index selection part that selects an index of an opening and closing speed set for the car door; and a processing part that executes setting processing of deriving operation setting information representative of a setting content related to an opening and closing operation of the door device, and outputting the operation setting information to a controller that controls the opening and closing operation of the door device. The processing part includes a speed pattern deriving part that derives speed pattern information on the basis of the opening type selected by the door type selection part and the index of the opening and closing speed selected by the speed index selection part, in which the speed pattern information is the operation setting information.

Occupant-based intelligent elevator actions

A method, system, and computer program product for occupant-based elevator actions are provided. The method identifies a set of subjects approaching a set of elevators to generate a set of identities for the set of subjects. A set of initial priority statuses are generated for the set of subjects. Based on the set of identities and the set of initial priority statuses, an elevator dispatch solution is determined. The method updates at least a portion of the initial priority statuses to generate a set of subsequent priority statuses in response to a subset of subjects entering at least one elevator. The method determines an isolation response for a first subject of the subset of subjects and modifies the elevator dispatch solution based on the isolation response to generate an isolation dispatch solution. The at least one elevator executes the isolation dispatch solution.

Method and Device for Controlling a Closing Movement of a Door of an Elevator Car in the Event of a Power Failure, Method for Retrofitting a Door of an Elevator Car, Door for an Elevator Car, and Elevator System

A method for controlling a closing movement of a door of an elevator car in the event of a power failure uses the door drive and an electrical energy store. During normal operation of the door by the door drive, electrical energy is buffered in the energy store. In response to a power failure when the door is open, a closing mechanism begins to close the door and the stored electrical energy is provided as backup energy to the door drive by a control device to decelerate the closing movement.

Elevator system with cabin divider

An elevator system, having: an elevator car, the elevator car including: a front end that includes a front doorway; an aft end that includes an aft doorway; and a cabin extending from the front end to the aft end; and a divider system operationally coupled to the elevator car within the cabin, intermediate the front and aft ends, that is operational to transition between: a retracted state, where the cabin is undivided; and a deployed state where the divider system divides the cabin into a front zone that is accessible by the front doorway and an aft zone that is accessible by the aft doorway.

Tag detection in elevator systems

An elevator system (2, 102) includes an elevator car (4, 104), a tag detection device (16, 116) arranged to detect the presence of tags (18, 20; 118, 120) in the elevator car (4, 104) and a control system (13). The control system (13) is arranged to determine if the tag detection device (16, 116) detects at least one of a set of associated tags (18, 20; 118, 120) 10 present in the elevator car (4, 104) and, if at least one of the set of associated tags (18, 20; 118, 120) is detected in the elevator car (4, 104), to prevent at least one travel operation of the elevator car (4, 104) until all or none of the set of associated tags (18, 20; 118, 120) is detected to be present in the elevator car (4, 104).

METHOD OF DOING MAINTENANCE ON AN ELEVATOR

A method of doing regular maintenance on an elevator includes steps of: (i) putting a robot on a car of the elevator; (ii) positioning the car with the robot at a landing to admit at least one operator into the car; (iii) positioning the car with the robot and the operator at a maintenance position; (iv) executing the maintenance with the robot in response to operator input; (v) positioning the car with the robot and the operator at a landing to release the operator from the car; and (vi) taking the robot from the car.
