MONITORING SYSTEM FOR CONVEYANCE SYSTEM
20220112051 · 2022-04-14 ·

A monitoring system for a conveyance system includes a pressure sensor mounted on a conveyance apparatus; an accelerometer mounted on the conveyance apparatus; and a controller arranged to: acquire accelerometer data by sampling the accelerometer; store the accelerometer data in a buffer; acquire pressure sensor data by sampling the pressure sensor; determine from the pressure sensor data that a start or stop of the conveyance apparatus has occurred; and upon said determination, analyse the accelerometer data to determine a first position within the accelerometer data, wherein the first position is a position at which the start or stop of the conveyance apparatus occurred. Both pressure and acceleration readings are combined to determine a point in time at which motion started or stopped. The pressure sensor is used first to determine a robust indication that the motion state has changed (started or stopped).

JUDGMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD

A method having a first step in which a radio signal transmitting unit transmits a radio signal carrying a piece of information corresponding to a first event which occurred to a signal comparison unit and, upon occurrence of the first event or a second event occurring simultaneously or virtually simultaneously with the first event, a wired signal transmitting unit transmits a wired signal carrying a piece of information corresponding to the first or second event to the signal comparison unit and a second step in which the signal comparison unit judges reliability of the radio signal based on the radio signal and the wired signal. In the second step, the signal comparison unit judges reliability of the radio signal based on the pieces of information respectively carried by the radio signal and the wired signal and a temporal difference between reception timings of the radio signal and the wired signal.

Methods and systems to control an elevator door of an elevator car that can be moved between floors of a building. At least one registered destination call is evaluated, which makes it possible to plan the number of boarding or exiting passengers for each stopping floor. For each stopping floor, a corresponding door dwell time for the elevator door is determined to make it possible for a registered passenger to board or exit on a stopping floor. The number of passengers that exit the elevator car on the stopping floor and the number of passengers that board the elevator car on the stopping floor is also determined. The elevator door is closed regardless of the set door dwell time if the number of passengers boarding and exiting on the stopping floor determined by the sensor system corresponds to the number of boarding or exiting passengers planned for the stopping floor.

User detection system and image processing device

According to one embodiment, a user detection system includes a camera, a boundary detector, a user detector and a controller. The camera is installed in a peripheral region of a door, and captures a running region when opening or closing the door and a region near the door. The boundary detector detects a boundary between a first structure and a second structure in the region near the door based on an image captured by the camera. The user detector detects whether there is a user in the running region based on a result detected by the boundary detector. The controller controls an open/close operation of the door based on a result detected by the user detector.
