At least one input terminal is mounted for acquiring destination call signals and a group computer is installed in the course of the modernization process. The group computer is suitable for evaluation of the destination call signals as well as for the output of at least one first control signal. For each elevator furthermore a respective control unit is installed for reading in the first control signal and a control module is installed at the respective car for issuing an internal call for the respective car initiated by the first control signal.

Zone object detection system for elevator system

A zone object detection system including a passenger compartment. Also included is a door moveable between an opened position and a closed position. Further included is a first sensor monitoring a first zone outside of a plane of the door. Yet further included is a second sensor monitoring a second zone comprising at least one of the plane of the door and outside of the plane of the door. Also included is a controller in operative communication with the first sensor and the second sensor, the controller commanding a first modification of a door closing movement of the door if an object is detected in the first zone, the controller commanding a second modification of the door closing movement of the door if an object is detected in the second zone.

SELF-TUNING DOOR TIMING PARAMETERS

Methods and system for tuning automatic doors are provided. Aspects includes receiving, by a controller, a request to open an automatic door, the request inputted to a first interface at a first location, determining an initial transfer time allowance (TTA), the initial TTA comprising an initial duration of time between a door open request time and a door closing start time, wherein the initial TTA is based on the first location, operating, by the controller, the automatic door to open and remain open until an expiration of the initial TTA, determining an occurrence of a transfer, wherein the transfer occurs at a first time point, determining whether the transfer is associated with the request, storing, in a memory, the first time point, and determining an adjusted TTA based on the first time point for the at least one transfer, wherein the adjusted TTA is associated with the first interface.

DYNAMIC ELEVATOR DOOR CONTROL
20200087115 · 2020-03-19 ·

A method for dynamic elevator door control is provided. The method is implemented by a system, which includes an elevator. The system procures passenger data, which can include a number of passengers presently travelling to a floor and a number of passengers awaiting to board at the floor. A determination is made by the system with respect a door operational time based on the passenger data. The system implements the door operational time to dynamically cause doors providing access to the elevator to remain open for a duration of the door operational time.

ELEVATOR COMMISSIONING METHOD, ELEVATOR COMMISSIONING SYSTEM, AND ELEVATOR SYSTEM

The present invention relates to a method and a system of commissioning elevator, and an elevator system. The method includes obtaining at least one operation data of at least one elevator door, comparing the operation data with corresponding criterion operation data, and determining whether a deviation between the operation data and the criterion operation data exceeds a pre-set range, and if so, triggering a control over at least one control end relevant to the operation of the elevator door to make a deviation between the operation data re-obtained and the criterion operation data fall within the pre-set range. The invention will increase the efficiency in elevator commissioning and remove the adverse effects on elevator operation caused by factors such as Stack Effect, and thereby ensure good working condition and high security of elevators.

ELEVATOR SYSTEM WITH LIDAR AND/OR RADAR SENSOR

Disclosed is an elevator system having an elevator entryway, the elevator entryway including: a first door, which is an elevator door, a first controller operationally connected to the first door for opening and closing the first door to provide access to an elevator, wherein when the first door is closing: the first controller monitors for first instructions over a frequency applicable to light detection and ranging (LIDAR) and/or a radio detection and ranging (RADAR), and upon receiving the first instructions, the first controller executes the first instructions.

ELEVATOR SYSTEM WITH OPTIMIZED DOOR RESPONSE
20200048045 · 2020-02-13 ·

A method and system for controlling a movable door associated with a passenger compartment, the door moveable between an opened position and a closed position configured to provide access to, or egress from, the passenger compartment. The method includes monitoring a landing area of the elevator door with at least one sensor, and determining a level of urgency of an approaching passenger based on the information from the at least one sensor. If the level of urgency exceeds a predetermined threshold, modifying a closing of the elevator door based on the level of urgency. The method may also include modifying a closing speed of the elevator door if the level of urgency exceeds a predetermined threshold.
