Elevator remote destination entry based on altitude
A method includes determining an altitude of a mobile device, determining a floor coinciding with the altitude, and requesting elevator service specific to the floor mapped to the mobile device location. An apparatus includes a memory having instructions stored thereon that, when executed, cause the apparatus to: determine an altitude of the apparatus within a building, determine a floor within the building coinciding with the altitude, and request an elevator car to arrive at the floor.
Flexible destination dispatch passenger support system
A method of passenger conveyance control includes receiving a destination request; tracking a passenger who entered the destination request while in a waiting area; and canceling the destination request in response to the passenger leaving the waiting area.
Allocation of elevators in elevator systems based on internal database
A method for allocation of elevators in an elevator system, including identifying at least one passenger, searching for a group or groups the at least one passenger is assigned to in an internal database, or assigning the at least one passenger to a group or to groups, where the assignment is based on information of an internal database, and calling an elevator car for the at least one passenger and assigning to the elevator car the destination of one group the at least one passenger is assigned to.
METHOD FOR PLACING A CALL FOR AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM
A method for placing a call for an elevator system, the elevator system including a mobile communication device carried by a user of the elevator system, a beacon that emits a beacon signal, and a controller of the elevator system, wherein the method includes the steps of: capturing the beacon signal by the mobile communication device; recognizing a gesture of the user by the mobile communication device; identifying an intention of the user to use the elevator system, wherein the recognized gesture and the captured beacon signal are used for this purpose; displaying a user interface on the mobile communication device for sending an elevator call; and sending the call to the controller.
System and method of initiating elevator service by entering an elevator call
The present disclosure relates generally to a system and method of initiating elevator service by entering an elevator call with a call input device operating a program including a plurality of graphical objects displayed on a graphic user interface, in communication with an elevator system. The method includes the steps: selecting a first floor graphical object from the plurality of graphical objects; and selecting a second floor graphical object from the plurality of graphical objects.
Group call management
In elevator journey prioritization often calls for larger groups are prioritized. This is often misused by placing elevator calls for larger groups that are actually travelling. This problem can be reduced by identifying the calling person when placing the call and again in the elevator. The number of people in the elevator can be estimated by using machine vision or weight-based approximation methods. When the number of passengers is not known the possible misuse can be suspected if a person places considerably more group calls as than average.
Pre-allocation of an elevator call
A method for allowing pre-allocation of an elevator call in an elevator system with destination control is provided. A first signal is received at an elevator group controller of an elevator system with destination control. The first signal indicates that a passenger including a passenger is detected to be approaching the elevator system at one of multiple floors associated with the elevator system. In response, allocation of an elevator call for the detected passenger is initiated, wherein the one of the multiple floors is assigned as the departure floor for the elevator call.
PASSENGER TRANSPORT SYSTEM
A passenger transport system includes a plurality of passenger transporters controlled by an transport system control, and further comprises at least one parameter memory configured to store at least one parameter or parameter set for the function of at least one transport system component, which transport system comprises a first wireless interface. The first interface may input data regarding at least one stored parameter or parameter set for the function of the related transport system component(s). The passenger transport system comprises mobile devices carried by users, which mobile devices may communicate wirelessly with the first interface, which communication is based on a short range transmission. The mobile devices may be prompted by the first interface to transmit data regarding the parameter or parameter set of the correlated transport system component. A passenger system interaction with a user to individual user requirements may be customized.
AN AUTOMATIC ELEVATOR CALLING SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AUTOMATIC CALLING ELEVATOR
The present invention relates to automatic elevator call control, and belongs to the field of elevator intelligent control technologies. An automatic elevator call system provided in the present invention calculates duration information from the moment when the personal mobile terminal leaves coverage of the wireless signal to the moment when the personal mobile terminal enters the coverage again, and when the duration information is less than or equal to a preset time threshold, causes the personal mobile terminal to be incapable of automatically sending an elevator call request command in a time period from the moment when the personal mobile terminal enters the coverage again to the moment when the personal mobile terminal leaves the coverage again. The present invention can effectively avoid invalid or abnormal elevator call request operations, and the elevator system achieves high running efficiency.
Automatic determination of elevator user's current location and next destination with mobile device technology
A method for automatically dispatching an elevator 110 based on a user's location is provided. The method includes querying a device 104 to determine a user's source floor and confirming the user's source floor. The method also includes querying the device to suggest the user's destination floor based on a history of destination floors traveled to by the user; and confirming the user's destination floor.
