ROTATION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR MATERIAL HANDLING MACHINES
A rotation control system may be provided for a material handling machine. The rotation control system may include a boom and a work tool attached to the boom. A swing motor may be capable of swinging the boom and the work tool. A work tool motor may be capable of rotating the work tool relative to the boom. An input device may generate a first signal indicative of a desired swinging of the boom and a second signal indicative of a desired rotation of the work tool. A controller may be in communication with the input device, the swing motor, and the work tool motor. The controller may be capable of actuating the work tool motor based only on the second signal during a first mode of operation and may be capable of actuating the work tool motor based on swinging of the boom during a second mode of operation.
Grapple Assembly with Force Limiting Device and Method for Using
A grapple assembly configured to be combined with a prime mover vehicle. The grapple assembly has a first tine configured to rotate relative to a second tine. The first tine is held in a first position by a force limiting device during normal operation. This force limiting device is movable between an operational position and a tripped position, and is biased in the operational position. The force limiting device has a pressure relief valve which opens to allow fluid to flow in a first direction when fluid pressure on the relief valve reaches a predetermined amount. The force limiting device is combined with the first tine so movement of the force limiting device from the operational position to the tripped position causes the first tine to rotate relative from the second tine thereby relieving forces generated by the prime mover's hydraulic system.
INTERNAL LINE ROUTING FOR WORKING MACHINES HAVING BOOM ARMS
A system (100) comprising a boom tip attachment bracket (108) on a boom (102) of a working machine, the boom (102) having an actuator (104) attached thereto and one or more flexible lines (106), a processing head attachment bracket (110) for rigidly attaching a processing head (112) to the boom (102) of the working machine, the processing head attachment bracket (110) having a line connection point (114) for connecting the one or more flexible lines (106), and an internal line passage (116) for passage of the one or more flexible lines (106) from the boom (102) to the line connection point (114). The boom tip attachment bracket comprises (108) a first rigid frame (118) having at least two plates (120a, 120b) spaced from each other by a first spacing distance (122) so as to comprise at least a portion of the internal line passage (116), and a pair of first coupling points (124a, 124b) opposed across the first spacing distance (122), for rotatably coupling the rigid frame (118) to the processing head (112) along a first rotation axis (126a). The processing head attachment bracket comprises a second rigid frame (128) having at least two plates (130a, 130b) spaced from each other by a second spacing distance (132) so as to comprise at least a portion of the internal line passage (116); and a pair of second coupling points (134a, 134b), opposed across the second spacing distance (132), and rotatably coupled with the pair of first coupling points (124a, 124b) along the first rotation axis (126a). The processing head attachment bracket (110) is coupled to the actuator (104) by a torque assembly (136) for translating actuation of the actuator (104) into a rotation of the processing head attachment bracket (110) about the first rotation axis (126a), and the internal line passage (116) passes through at least the first rotation axis (126a).
Method and apparatus for managing an online meeting
Group online communication and collaboration has become part of people's daily life. Therefore, it is critical to provide a meeting initiator to efficiently present his/her information, and control his/her presented information. It is also critical for the speed and efficiently to process the meeting initiator's requests for his/her presented information to be quickly reaching to other meeting participants during a meeting. This invention facilitates a unique user interface (UI) for the meeting initiator to efficiently present information and to control presented information through a unique withdrawing (un-post) operation. Specially, this invention deploys dynamic workspaces technology together with post and un-post (withdraw) operations that greatly improves the speed and efficiency for processing the meeting initiator's requests and for monetizing the meeting activities.
Method and apparatus for information sharing over a web based environment
The virtual presentation technology in this invention can significantly reduce data load on a network and thus reduce the network bandwidth requirement. This allows serving more requests for data transaction over a network with fixed network bandwidth. In addition, with traditional Internet file sharing products, e.g. the then-existed Yahoo Group online service, in order to stop sharing a file, the file must be physically deleted that prevents resharing the file unless expensively recreating them. In addition, traditional email and instant message does not allow a user to delete a previously posted or shared message from a UI of a recipient. Therefore, the user could be embarrassed if the posted message is not proper to the recipient. This invention has overcome the problems to allow user instantly deleting posted information of file or folder from recipient's UI without physically deleting the file, and deleting previously posted messages from recipient's UI.
AUTOMATIC TRANSFER OF AN ARTICULATED BOOM OF A FORWARDER FOR HANDLING LOGS
The method for controlling a forwarder comprises storing in a control unit of the forwarder one or more predetermined paths of a head of an articulated boom of the forwarder or a grapple suspended from the head; enabling an automatic transfer of the head or the grapple along one of the paths. The enabling is carried out manually by an operator with the help of a control device; setting off the automatic transfer with the help of a predetermined motion or sequence of motions carried out manually. The method further comprises automatically transferring the head or the grapple under control of the control unit, from a current position of the head or the grapple representing a starting position of the path, along the path, and to an end of the path; stopping the head or the grapple at the end of the path; and automatically disabling the automatic transfer of the head or the grapple after reaching the stopping position.
