Smart Lift Device
A smart lifting device, a system, and a related and method for evaluating a duty cycle status of a lifting device suspendable from a support for lifting loads are disclosed. The subject matter may include attaching a load to a base member; lifting the base member and the load using the support; monitoring parameters related to the lifting step using at least one sensor and a lift monitor attached to the base member, the at least one sensor detecting at least an instance of lifting; and reporting information related to the determined parameters. The device and system may include base members and lift monitors with sensors and/or communications devices, as well as optional computer interfaces.

Suspension work platform hoist system
A suspension work platform hoist system for raising and lowering a work platform is provided. The system incorporates at least one hoist attached to the work platform and in electrical communication with a hoist control system having a monitoring and diagnostic system to monitor and record at least one of a plurality of operating characteristics of the hoist. The hoist control system may further include a safety lock out system that requires authentication of an operator prior to the hoist control system causing movement of the hoist system.

CONTROL OF VERTICAL MOVEMENT OF HOISTING ROPE
A device in connection with a hoisting rope of a hoisting device includes a main suspension element to suspend a sheave or wedge socket supporting the hoisting rope to a fastening structure of a body of the hoisting device and a detector for detecting an external vertical force acting on the hoisting rope.

METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AND IN PARTICULAR MONITORING AN ACTUATOR, IN PARTICULAR OF A WINCH, A HOIST OR A CRANE, AND SYSTEM FOR CARRYING OUT SUCH A METHOD
A method and system for controlling an actuator, in particular an actuator of a winch, a hoist or a crane, wherein the actuator is controlled using a fail-safe control unit. In order to improve a corresponding method, according to the invention, set point values are calculated in the fail-safe control unit, on the basis of which values the actuator is controlled.
Selectively positionable winch assemblies with releasable clamps
A winch assembly including a winch housing body, an attachment structure, and one or more releasable clamps. The winch housing body may comprise a front wall, a rear wall, and at least one connecting wall that extends between the front wall and the rear wall. The front wall, rear wall, and connecting wall define a winch-receiving volume sized to house a winch device therein. The winch device may include a motor, a drum that is operatively connected to the motor, and a cable that is operatively connected to the drum. The attachment structure may be attached to the distal end of the cable. The one or more releasable clamps may be mounted to the rear wall. The one or more releasable clamps may be configured to clamp onto support rails of differing widths.
