Method and Transport Device for Transporting a Container or Pallet with Air Cargo
Method for transporting a container or pallet with cargo, wherein at least one transport device is used comprising a frame consisting of an elongate central member (11) and carrying beams (12), each carrying beam (12) extending perpendicular to the central member (11) in the same direction from a different end of the central member (11) thus forming a generally U-shaped frame, wherein in use said U-shaped frame extends in a generally horizontal orientation, said carrying beams being arranged to engage and carry a bottom part of a container or a pallet, wherein the bottom side of said frame is provided with a plurality of air bearings (13) arranged to lift said frame with said cargo from a flat floor surface, wherein a container or pallet to be transported is moved into or out of a vehicle at an transshipment location, wherein for transporting said container or pallet in or out of said vehicle said container or pallet is engaged and lifted by said at least one transport device by activating said air bearings (13), wherein said transport device is moved in and/or out of said vehicle while said air bearings (13) are activated, and wherein said transport device is disengaged from said container or pallet by deactivating said air bearings (13).
Travel Restricting Device
A travel restricting device is for restricting the traveling of a transport vehicle along a travel rail in a transport facility. The transport vehicle includes a wheel that rolls on a travel surface of the travel rail, a drive device that drives the wheel, and a bumper that causes the drive device to undergo an emergency stop. The travel restricting device includes a mounting section mountable on the travel surface, and a standing section that can be disposed extending upward beyond the travel surface. The standing section includes a facing section arranged at a position facing the bumper from a distancing side in the travel direction while the mounting section is mounted on the travel surface. The mounting section includes an underlay section positioned relative to the facing section so as to be pressed under the wheel while the bumper is in contact with the facing section.
Low profile compact tool carriers
Compact tool carriers having a loader mounted to a low-profile mainframe are disclosed. In some embodiments, the pivot points of the mainframe about which the loader is pivoted are low relative to the mainframe to reduce the mainframe size and to lower the center of gravity to improve the stability of the compact tool carrier during use.
RACKING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A RACKING SYSTEM HAVING A VEHICLE
In a racking system and a method for operating a racking system having a vehicle, the vehicle has omnidirectional wheels.
POWERED HAND TRUCK WITH PIVOTING TRACKS
The powered hand truck with pivoting tracks includes a chassis containing the components for general operation. A common pivot axle extends through the chassis and a pair of tracks is pivotally attached to opposite ends of the common pivot axle. This connection to the pivot axle permits each track to pivot passively with respect to the chassis independently of the other. An extendable control arm has one end attached to each opposing side of the chassis and an opposing end attached to a corresponding track. The control arm controls the extent of pivoted positioning of the connected track to dampen pivoting of the corresponding track within a predetermined range.
Mobile auxiliary transfer lift caddy
A mobile lift caddy is configured to remove a vehicle from a primary lift while the vehicle is elevated above the workplace floor and then transport the vehicle to another location. The mobile lift caddy is dimensioned to fit between vertical lift posts of the primary lift. A mobility drive arrangement moves the caddy under operator control to and from the workplace location. Caddy lift arms are configured to accept a portion of removable lift pad assemblies at the lift arms of the primary lift, to lift out the lift pad assembly with the vehicle supported on the lift pads.
LOW PROFILE COMPACT TOOL CARRIERS
Compact tool carriers having a loader mounted to a low-profile mainframe are disclosed. In some embodiments, the pivot points of the mainframe about which the loader is pivoted are low relative to the mainframe to reduce the mainframe size.
A Grid Framework Structure
A grid framework structure configured to support one or more robotic load handling devices includes: a grid structure having a first set of parallel grid members extending in a first direction and a second set of parallel grid members extending in a second direction to form a grid pattern of grid cells; a track system; and a supporting framework structure for supporting the grid structure above ground to create a storage space for containers such that load handling devices can lift containers through a grid cell; wherein: the supporting framework structure includes a plurality of prefabricated modular panels.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL TRANSFER ROBOT
A multifunctional transfer robot, which relates to the technical field of robots, and addresses the problem that the function of existing transfer robots is singular. The multifunctional transfer robot comprises a traveling unit, which is provided with a support; a base which is arranged on the support, a lifting unit capable of driving the base to ascend and descend in the height direction being arranged between the support and the base; a bearing seat which is used for bearing materials and arranged on the base; and a hoisting unit which is used for hoisting materials and arranged on the support.
