Single-use beverage barrel made of stainless steel
A single-use beverage barrel for one-time use, produced from a primarily cylindrical casing part, deep-drawn bottom and lid parts, having an opening in the center of the lid part, which is sealed by a plastic fitting and wherein the casing part is produced from stainless steel and has a wall thickness of 0.8 mm or less and the bottom part and the lid part are also produced from stainless steel and have a wall thickness of 0.8 mm or less.
CONTAINER AND CLOSURE WITH ANTI-MISSILING CHANNELS
A container for pressurised liquid has a closure (V) engaged on the neck (N), both formed of yieldable polymer. The closure (V) has an end wall (21) and a skirt (20) provided with internal screw threads (24) which co-operate with external screw threads (23) on the neck to hold the closure in place. A pressure seal (25) is formed between the mouth (22) of the neck and the end wall (21) of the closure when the closure is screwed onto the neck whereby the pressurised liquid is retained within the container. To prevent missiling when the closure (V) is unscrewed the proximal face (28) of the external screw threads (23) is formed with transverse venting channels (36) extending from the base (26) of the respective screw threads to their outer extremity (27). The distal face (29) of the external screw threads (23) opposite each of the venting channels (36) is substantially continuous. This avoids weakening the neck of the container and reduces the risk of long-term creep.
SELF VENTING VALVE CLOSURE
A valve closure for a keg, e.g. incorporating an A-type valve arrangement, has a gas inlet port 11, a liquid dispensing port 12 and a valve member 6 to sealably close the gas inlet and liquid dispensing ports. A venting mechanism includes a detent 23 which can be activated by rotating the valve member 6 after the keg has been filled. This mechanism, when activated, primes a resiliently deflectable circumferential arm 22 to move the detent between the sealing face of the valve member 6 and its valve seat when the valve is next connected for dispensing. When the mechanism is not activated it does not interfere with the normal opening and closing of the valve, e.g. during filling
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FILLING A BEVERAGE CONTAINER
Exemplary embodiments include a filling apparatus that can be connected to a valve on a keg, such as a Sankey-D valve, and can be used to pour alcohol and other liquids into the keg, which may be pre-filled with a non-alcoholic drink mix. The filling apparatus has an upper structure which is coupled to a lower portion configured to mate with a keg valve. The filling apparatus may be designed to depress portions of the keg valve to allow for both filling and venting of the keg simultaneously. The filling apparatus may further be designed with features to prevent liquid escape during degassing of the keg. The filling apparatus may include a Sankey-D coupler or a coupler with a probe portion as the lower body portion.
Valve assembly for a beverage container
A valve assembly for a beverages container with two components, of which one external container and one internal container, closed at the upper part by a closing device, comprises a valve body made in a single body and a spring device, wherein a mobile sealing unit is present between the valve body and the spring device, configured to selectively open and close a passage aperture of the valve assembly.
Device for providing a disposable bag in keg or other container
A device for providing a disposable liner or bag and valve inside of a keg. An example device includes a valve assembly connected to a spear assembly. The disposable liner or bag is wrapped around the spear assembly to fit through a top opening in the keg and the valve assembly is connected to the top opening of the keg. A series of valves and passages enable an inert gas to flow into and expand or inflate the disposable liner or bag inside of the keg, and the valve then enables filling the disposable liner or bag inside of the keg with beer or other liquid to be dispensed from the keg. When the keg is empty, the spear assembly may be disconnected and withdrawn, thus removing both the disposable liner or bag and disposable valve assembly from the keg.
SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS FOR RECEIVING, STORING, AND DISPENSING FLUIDS
A container has a top and a bottom endcap, a bottle sandwiched therebetween, and one or more bands coupling the top and bottom endcaps and the bottle. The bottle receives therein a flexible bladder. At least one of the top and bottom endcaps has a pair of opposing parallel surfaces, one of which has a protrusion extending therefrom and the other one of which has a recess therein at a location corresponding to that of the protrusion. A valving structure demountably engages with a neck portion of the bottle and has (i) a coupling valve assembly having two channels in fluid communication with the bottle and the bladder for injecting gas thereinto and dispensing liquid therefrom, respectively, and (ii) a twist-lock casing receiving therein the coupling valve assembly and removably coupled to the bottle's neck portion. The twist-lock casing has a structure for safely depressurizing the bottle.
Valve closure with concentric spring-loaded moving valve members, the internal valve member having axial protrusions
A valve closure for dispensing liquid by means of a pressurised gas has an inner sleeve (12) which includes a socket (16) and an annular inner valve seat (18). The inner sleeve carries a ring seal (14) which is urged against an outer valve seat (9) by an outer spring (15). A valve member (21) has an annular sealing face (23) co-operable with the inner valve seat (18) and a spring (24) urges the valve member (21) against the inner valve seat (18). The valve member (21) incorporates a plurality of projections (26) spaced radially from the annular sealing face (23). The valve closure can be used with a dispensing coupler having a tubular probe with a circumferential ring seal and a locking recess to engage the locking fingers of a detachable closing element.
BEVERAGE DISPENSING ASSEMBLY PREVENTING MICRO-ORGANISM REFLUX
Beverage dispensing assembly 200 comprising a beverage container 201 with a container body 202 defining a beverage chamber arranged for holding a beverage; a dispenser 230 with a dispensing opening for dispensing the beverage; and a dispensing line extending between the beverage chamber and the dispensing opening to form a flow path enabling a flow of beverage from the beverage chamber to the dispensing opening. The dispensing line comprises a first dispensing line part 211 attached to the container body 202 and a separate second dispensing line part 220 attached to the dispenser 230, the first and the second parts fluid tightly coupled to each other with detachable coupling means 210. The first dispensing line part defines an upstream flow path section arranged to at least reduce a microorganism migration rate from a downstream flow path section in the second dispensing line part into the beverage chamber.
