DISPENSING HEAD AND BEVERAGE SERVER
A dispensing head includes a fastening portion fastened to a mouth of a beverage container, a connecting portion to which a gas coupling connected to a gas cylinder via a gas tube is connected, a gas channel configured to cause the connecting portion and the beverage container to communicate with each other, a dispensing portion configured to dispense a beverage injected from the beverage container by a pressure of a gas supplied to the beverage container via the gas channel, and an operation inhibition mechanism configured to inhibit an operation for connecting the gas coupling to the connecting portion in a state in which the fastening portion is not fastened to the mouth.
Bag-in-keg container with fixed pressure PRV
A bag-in-keg container for a carbonated beverage has a container body C, a flexible bag B within the container body, and a valve closure V attached to the container body. The valve closure includes a gas inlet port (11), a liquid dispensing port (12), and spring-loaded valve member (6) to sealably close the gas inlet and liquid dispensing ports. An adapter (20) sealingly attached to the flexible bag B incorporates a bag PRV (26) to vent gas pressure from within the flexible bag. A container PRV (40) vents gas pressure from between the container body C and the flexible bag B. The bag PRV has a valve shuttle with one side exposed to gas pressure within the flexible bag B and an opposite side exposed to gas pressure within a sealed plenum chamber (37). The bag PRV therefore operates at a fixed pressure independent of the differential pressure between the bag and the outer container. This solves the problem of venting excess pressure within the keg whilst still allowing the dispensing gas to achieve the equilibrium.
KEG CLOSURE HOUSING WITH INTEGRALLY FORMED FEATURES
A closure for a beverage keg is provided, comprising an outer housing wall defining at least a portion of a valve housing and an inner duct that is located within the outer housing wall. The inner duct extends through at least a portion of the valve housing to define a flow path through the closure. The outer housing wall and the inner duct are integrally formed together as part of a single housing component.
BEVERAGE CONTAINER AND VALVE FOR A BEVERAGE CONTAINER
Beverage container, comprising a body and a neck, wherein at the neck a valve is provided for dispensing a beverage comprising gas from the container, wherein an inner surface part of the container adjacent the valve, especially an inner surface part of the container within the neck between the body and an inlet side of the valve is smooth and sloping towards the inlet side of the valve, such that foam is prevented from being trapped at the inner surface of the neck.
Keg closure with attached venting system
A closure (1) for a beverage keg (90), comprising an inlet for admitting a pressurised gas into a headspace of the beverage keg (90) and a venting aperture (27) separate from the inlet. The venting aperture (27) is configured to provide fluid communication between the headspace of the keg (90) and an exterior of the closure (1). The closure (1) is provided with a barrier (29) that is welded to the closure (1) and configured to seal the venting aperture such that the closure (1) is able to retain the pressurised gas within the keg (90) in an unvented configuration. The barrier (29) is configured to rupture and/or to become at least partially detached from the closure (1) by internal pressure from within the keg (90) in order to switch the closure (1) into a vented configuration in which the venting aperture (27) is no longer sealed by the barrier (29).
OVERPRESSURE VALVE OF A SPEAR TUBE VALVE
A keg gasket for a beverage-containing keg includes a round basic body composed of an elastomeric material, a recess reaching through the basic body, and an upper plate region and a web region extending downwardly therefrom in an installed position. A colored marking with a defined geometrical shape is applied to an upper side of the plate region, and the geometrical shape is an at least partially encircling ring.
Beverage container and valve for a beverage container
Beverage container (1) and valve (6) for a beverage container. Beverage container (1), comprising a body (2) and a neck (3), wherein at the neck (3) a valve (6) is provided for dispensing a beverage comprising gas from the container (1), wherein an inner surface part (21) of the container (1) adjacent the valve (6), especially an inner surface part of the container within the neck between the body and an inlet side (8) of the valve (6) is smooth and sloping towards the inlet side of the valve, such that foam is prevented from being trapped at the inner surface of the neck (3).
TAP HEAD HAVING A 3/2-WAY VALVE
The invention relates to a tap head (1) for connecting to a keg (9), in particular for a bar system, the tap head (1) having a tap head body (3), and a pressurization-gas supply line (7) and a beverage removal line (6) being formed in the tap head body (3), such that a 3/2-way valve (2) is formed directly on or in the tap head body (3) in the pressurization-gas supply line (7), which 3/2-way valve connects either the pressurization-gas supply line (7) from a gas source to the interior of the keg (11) or connects, in a gas-conducting manner, the interior of the keg (11) to the environment (U).
CONTAINER AND VALVE FOR A CONTAINER
Valve, comprising a base element and a snap ring or snap fingers extending there from, positioned around an opening through the base element, wherein within the snap ring or between the snap fingers a valve housing is provided, having at least one inlet opening and a spring loaded valve body, biased towards the base element and closing off the opening, wherein the valve body is operable through the opening for opening a fluid connection between the inlet opening or openings and the opening in the base element.
Keg closure with element for locking the valve in an open position
A closure (1) for a beverage keg (90) is provided, comprising a valve housing (20) and a valve element (30), which is movable with respect to the valve housing (20) inwardly into an open state and outwardly into a closed state. A locking system comprises a locking element (50) that is movable with respect to the valve housing (20) and is capable of holding the valve element (30) in the open state. The locking element (50) comprises a body portion (51) located inside the valve housing (20) and a leg (56) that extends outwardly from the body portion (51) to the exterior of the valve housing (20). The leg (56) comprises an engagement element (57) that is configured to engage a stop formation fixed with respect to the valve housing (20) in order to limit the maximum extent of movement of the locking element (50) in an upward direction relative to the valve housing (20) after beverage has been dispensed from the keg (90).
