The reaction chamber includes a first set of fins, a second set of fins, a photo-catalyst disposed upon at least one face of each fin, and a light source arranged to illuminate at least a portion of the photo-catalyst disposed on each fin. Each of the first set of fins is arranged such that a line extending from a base of the fin through a tip of the fin is directed to a first convergence point, and each of the second set of fins is arranged such that a line extending from a base of the fin through a tip of the fin is directed to a second convergence point. The first convergence point is different to the second convergence point, and both the first convergence point and the second convergence point are offset relative to a position of the light source.
PHOTOCATALYTIC AIR TREATMENT
There is provided a photocatalytic reactor arranged to receive one or more airborne contaminants. The photocatalytic reactor includes a photo-catalyst for photocatalytic degradation of one or more of the contaminants disposed on a substrate, and a light-emitting diode circuit board comprising a circuit board with one or more first light-emitting diodes mounted to a first side of the circuit board and one or more second light-emitting diodes mounted to a second side of the circuit board. The substrate is arranged to be illuminated by both the one or more first light-emitting diodes and the one or more second light-emitting diodes in order to facilitate photocatalytic degradation.
PREPARATION METHOD OF PHOTOLUMINESCENT PHOTOCATALYTIC BEADS FOR DECOMPOSITION OF HARMFUL SUBSTANCES AND REMOVAL OF VIRUSES, AND PHOTOCATALYST BEADS OBTAINED FROM THE METHOD
Provided is a method of preparing photoluminescent photocatalyst beads for removing harmful substances or viruses present in air, soil, and water, and more particularly to a method of preparing photoluminescent photocatalyst beads that are efficient in decomposing and removing a mixture of hard-to-decompose organic contaminants and removing viruses by preparing a photoluminescent photocatalyst in the form of a bead, and photoluminescent photocatalyst beads obtained from the method.
AIR PURIFYING SYSTEM
An air purifying system having two series of specific filters vertically arranged around a central, cylindrical electrostatic filter to facilitate removal of particles from the air. Removable filters include a pre-filter, an activated carbon filter and a cold catalyst filter, in addition to the electrostatic cylindrical filter. Additional filters or alternate filters may be used, so long as there is no negative impact on the system efficiency and effectiveness.
COMPACT AIR PURIFICATION APPARATUS
A compact air purification apparatus which can improve an acetaldehyde removal performance and of which the size can be reduced is provided. A compact air purification apparatus using a photocatalyst includes a housing, a photocatalyst member that is disposed in the housing and contains titanium oxides, a light emitting unit that is disposed in the housing to irradiate the photocatalyst member with ultraviolet light and includes a plurality of LED elements, and a fan that circulates air inside the housing.
PHOTOCATALYST AND APPLICATION THEREOF IN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PHOTOCATALYTIC TREATMENT OF POWER BATTERY
Disclosed are a photocatalyst and application thereof in environmentally friendly photocatalytic treatment of a power battery. The photocatalyst is obtained by loading Ag-TaON on a hollow glass microsphere, wherein a mass ratio of the Ag-TaON to the hollow glass microsphere is 1: 5 to 10. According to the invention, the Ag-TaON and the hollow glass microsphere are compounded, the hollow glass microsphere has better light permeability, which avoids mutual shielding between catalysts, such that the photocatalyst filled in a reactor is fully excited, which is capable of effectively improving a light utilization rate, thus improving the catalytic conversion efficiency of the photocatalyst.
DEVICE FOR AIR PURIFICATION, INCORPORATED INTO A VEHICLE
A device for air purification, incorporated into a vehicle, which comprises a case, fixed to the outside of the vehicle and having a longitudinal duct through which air passes, the air entering impure through at least one opening located in the front part, with respect to the direction of travel of the vehicle, and exiting through at least one opening located in the rear part under the suctioning effect of at least one fan disposed in the opening. From the inlet to the outlet, the air purification device successively includes the following devices: a photocatalytic reactor; a reverse microwave; an activated carbon filter; and a HEPA filter, just before the fans located in the outlet conduit.
AIR FILTER AND FILTER MEDIA THEREOF
A filter media can include a fiber coated with a barrier coating that is substantially non-reactive to reactive species, and a photocatalytic coating disposed on the barrier coating, wherein the photocatalytic coating generates reactive species in response to illumination with optical radiation.
AIR CLEANER
The present invention relates to an air cleaner and, more particularly, to an air cleaner provided with a housing divided into an outer housing and an inner housing, wherein the outer housing and the inner housing are separated from one another, a photocatalytic filter and a collection filter are installed in the inner housing, and air flows even through the space between the inner housing and the outer housing. The present invention provides an air cleaner comprising: an outer housing defining an inlet and an outlet; an inner housing disposed in the outer housing and formed to be separated from the outer housing; a fan installed in the inner housing to forcibly discharge air in the outlet direction; a photocatalytic filter installed in the inner housing and disposed in the direction in which air from the fan is discharged or in the direction opposite to that in which the air is discharged; and an ultraviolet light source disposed upstream of the photocatalytic filter in the direction of airflow created by the fan in order to irradiate the photocatalytic filter with ultraviolet rays.
