System and method for purification of drinking water, ethanol and alcohol beverages of impurities

A system and method for the purification of beverage fluids, primarily alcohol beverages, based on the action of hydrodynamic cavitation processing of microbiological and chemical contaminants, micro particles and colloidal particles. The system is a batch system with a single vessel having an extraction tube and discharge tube extending into the same reservoir of fluid. Fluid is drawn through the extraction tube and forced through the discharge tube. The discharge tube contains cavitation elements dispersed along its length to generate hydrodynamic cavitation in the fluid as it is pumped through. The discharge fluid is mixed with the fluid already in the vessel and is re-drawn through the extraction tube in continuous batch processing.

Vortexing chamber and system

A vortexing chamber, including: a chamber housing having a hollow channel, a first end and a second end; and one or more structural impediment objects having a substantially spherical, cubic, rectangular, cylindrical, polyhedron, tetrahedron, or irregular shape; where the objects are housed within the hollow channel, configured to mix a liquid and gas (for example, oxygen or nitrogen) when a liquid and gas pass through the vortexing chamber. The structural impediment objects can provide turbulence and dispersion when a liquid and gas are passed through the vortexing chamber at a high velocity, resulting in micro-bubbles or nano-bubbles suspended in a liquid and gas mixture.

METHOD FOR PURIFICATION OF DRINKING WATER, ETHANOL AND ALCOHOL BEVERAGES OF IMPURITIES

A system and method of the purification of drinking water, ethanol and alcohol beverages is based on the action of hydrodynamic cavitation processing of microbiological and chemical contaminants, micro particles and colloidal particles. The fluid flow moves at a high rate through a multi-stage cavitation device and filtration module to generate hydrodynamic cavitation features in the fluid flow. The cavitation features generate changes in the velocity, pressure, temperature, chemical composition and physical properties of the liquid. The cavitation features also prevent the deposition of contaminants upon and remove contaminants from the surface of the filter module, reduce the load on the filter elements and increase the life of the filter module.

A micro-bubble generator is provided between an input end and an output end of a water outlet device. The micro-bubble generator includes a water inlet member and a water outlet member. A gas inlet gap is remained between the water inlet member and the water outlet member, with the gas inlet gap being communicated to external air, such that the external air is allowed to enter the micro-bubble generator for gas-liquid mixing and generate minute and dense bubbles.

MIXER FOR CHROMATOGRAPHY SYSTEM

Described is a mixer for a chromatography system. The mixer includes an inlet manifold channel, an outlet manifold channel and a plurality of transfer channels. The inlet manifold channel has an inlet at a proximal end of the inlet manifold channel for receiving an inlet flow. The transfer channels are fluidly connected between the inlet and outlet manifold channels. The respective fluid connections are distributed along each of the inlet and outlet manifolds channels. The transfer channels have different volumes. The mixer may be formed of a plurality of layer and the layers may be diffusion bonded to each other.
