HIGHLY SOLUBLE STEVIA SWEETENER

A method for making highly soluble Stevia sweetener compositions is described. The resulting sweetener compositions readily provide high concentration solutions, and also possess superior taste qualities. The compositions can be used as sweeteners, sweetness enhancers, and flavor enhancers in foods, beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

Method for filling containers with a powder
11987404 · 2024-05-21 · ·

The present invention regards a method for filling containers with a single-dose composition comprising or, alternatively, consisting of mannitol in powder form. Such process comprises the following steps: a) breaking up a coherent mass of powder mannitol, so as to obtain a broken-up mass from said coherent mass; c) filling a plurality of containers with the broken-up mass of step a), wherein a bulk density of the coherent mass is smaller than a bulk density of the broken-up mass.

COMPOSITIONS AND COMESTIBLES

D-psicose/erythritol compositions comprise, in combination, D-psicose and erythritol as sweeteners together with one or more other edible ingredients. Comestibles are provided, including beverage products and other food products, comprising the novel D-psicose/erythritol compositions. D-psicose and erythritol may each be present in a comestible in a concentration sufficient independently of the other to perceptibly sweeten the composition. An additional sweetener component and other ingredients may be included in the formulation.

Enzymatic synthesis of soluble glucan fiber

An enzymatically produced soluble -glucan fiber composition is provided suitable for use as a digestion resistant fiber in food and feed applications. The soluble -glucan fiber composition can be blended with one or more additional food ingredients to produce fiber-containing compositions. Methods for the production and use of compositions comprising the soluble -glucan fiber are also provided.

NOVEL GLUCOSE OXIDASE COMPOSITIONS
20190175703 · 2019-06-13 ·

Glucose oxidase and further compositions are described. The glucose oxidase compositions have glucose oxidase and at least one ingredient selected from one or more of carbohydrate (e.g. dietary fiber or saccharide), polyol or sugar alcohol while further compositions are sweeteners, food, compositions for fortification of food, nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals. The compositions incorporate low glycemic index nutritive compound of glycemic index less than 70, preferably less than 50, and are in the form of powders, granules, crystalline compositions, flours, pills, tablets, capsules, pellets, powder for oral suspensions, gels, liquid solutions and suspensions, and sterile preparations. The compositions regulate one or more diseases/conditions, including but not limited to those associated with blood, kidney, thyroid, nerves, joints, weight, diabetes, oxidative stress, cardiovascular disease, insulin resistance, amyloid foot ulcers, cataract, glaucoma, hypertension, metabolic disorders, digestive disorders polycystic ovarian syndrome, mastopathy, dupuytren's contracture, gingivitis, periodontitis, dental caries, mouth disorders, cognitive dysfunction, and Parkinson's disease.

Crystalline maltitol powder less prone to consolidation and method for production thereof

[Object] It is intended to provide a crystalline maltitol powder less prone to consolidation, which is free from the formation of a lump during delivery or storage thereof, does not require pulverization or re-classification in use, is easy to handle in transfer, package opening, addition or mixing to another food material, and so on, and allows for automated transportation and so on. [Means for solving the object] The crystalline maltitol powder less prone to consolidation is obtained by charging crystalline or powdery maltitol into a shelf type dryer, a tunnel-type dryer, a cylindrical container, or the like and subjecting the equipment or container to a treatment wherein an air having a temperature of 30 to 33 C. and a relative humidity of 5% is allowed to flow into the equipment or container from one side thereof and withdrawn out of the other side thereof at a space velocity of 11 to 12 for consecutive 24 hours. Even when the relative humidity is 45%, the crystalline maltitol powder less prone to consolidation can be obtained by combining therewith other conditions such as an appropriate space velocity of the feed of air and an appropriate treatment duration.

METHOD FOR PREPARING WATER-SOLUBLE RUTIN POWDER AND USES THEREOF

Please replace the following substitute abstract for the abstract currently on file: A method for preparing a water-soluble rutin powder includes: heating and mixing a plant polysaccharide substance, a filler, and water to obtain a wall material solution; adding an antioxidant and a rutin powder into the wall material solution at a first temperature, followed by emulsification and dispersion, pH adjustment, and high-pressure homogenization to obtain a rutin powder emulsion; and carrying out heating fusion of the rutin powder emulsion to obtain a water-soluble rutin powder. With the preparation method, a water-soluble rutin product is obtained through emulsification, high-pressure homogenization, ultra-high-temperature fusion, drying and other processes by using modified starch and a plant polysaccharide as a wall material and rutin as a core material. The product features high rutin content, good water solubility, and high solution clarity, has good stability in an acidic solution environment, and can meet requirements of acidic transparent beverage for high clarity, high stability, and no precipitation.
