Method and system to control the methane mass flow rate for the production of liquefied methane gas (LMG)
The system is provided for generating a mixed methane gas feed stream using at least one source of biogas and an alternate source of methane gas. The system includes a biogas subsystem, a control device for the methane gas from the at least one alternate source of methane gas, and a vertically-extending gas mixing vessel. A method of controlling a methane gas mass flow rate of a mixed methane gas feed stream is also disclosed. The proposed concept is particularly well adapted for situations where an uninterrupted and relatively constant input of methane gas is required to ensure an optimum operation of, for instance, a LMG production plant.
System and method for mixing polyunsaturated fatty acids into a fluid food product
An apparatus for distributing oil into fluid food product includes a batch tank, a transfer line, a pressure tank, a funnel, an oil dispenser, an inline shear mixer, and a flow line. The batch tank holds a volume of fluid food product. The transfer line is in fluid connection with the batch tank. The pressure tank holds a volume of oil. The funnel is disposed through a top opening in the pressure tank and dispenses oil into the pressure tank. A stem portion of the funnel extends at least halfway into an interior of the pressure tank. The funnel includes at least one vent. The oil dispenser dispenses oil from the pressure tank into a flow of fluid food product from the batch tank. The inline shear mixer mixes the fluid food product and the oil. The flow line flows the fluid food product-and-oil mixture to the batch tank.
Full-Electric Drive Cementing Control System
A full-electric drive cementing control system is disclosed. The system includes: a water supply system for supplying clear water; an ash supply system for supplying dry ash; a slurry mixing system for performing a slurry mixing operation to form slurry; a plunger pump for pumping the slurry to a cementing operation object; and a control assembly for controlling, in response to a received cementing operation instruction, connection of a pipeline between an outlet of the water supply system and an inlet of the slurry mixing system and a pipeline between an outlet of the ash supply system and the inlet of the slurry mixing system, controlling, according to a preset slurry mixing parameter, the slurry mixing system to mix the clear water and the dry ash to form the slurry required for a cementing operation, and controlling, according to a preset perfusion parameter, a driving motor to drive the plunger pump to work, the cementing operation instruction carrying the preset slurry mixing parameter and the preset perfusion parameter.
Blender for Frac Fluids
The density of slurries produced by mobile blender for injection into oil and gas wells is controlled using a microwave flow meter. Liquid having a known density is provided to the blender. The liquid is flowed through a conduit and discharged into a blending tub on the mobile blender. The amount of liquid introduced into the tub is measured with a liquid flow meter. Solid particulates having a known density are provided to the blender. The particulates are discharged into the tub by allowing them to fall into the tub from a conveyor on the mobile blender. The amount of the particulates falling into the tub are measured with a microwave flow meter. The flow of the liquid and the particulates are controlled in response to the measurements to blend a slurry having a predetermined density. The slurry is provided for injection into the well.
MICROWAVE NETWORKS, WAVEGUIDES, MIXING CARTS, METHODS OF SUPPLYING GAS, AND GAS MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS FOR RADIATION THERAPY MACHINES
A microwave network for a radiation therapy machine having a microwave source and a linear accelerator, includes a waveguide configured to connect between the microwave source and the linear accelerator. The waveguide contains at least one of a first gas or a second gas, the first gas being 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoro-2-(trifluoromethyl) propanenitrile and the second gas being 1,1,1,3,4,4,4-heptafluoro-3-(trifluoromethyl)-2-butanone.
System and Method for Mixing Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids into a Fluid Food Product
A method for producing a mixture of oil and fluid food product includes placing a funnel into a pressure tank such that a stem of the funnel extends at least halfway down into the pressure tank. The pressure tank is flushed with nitrogen. Oil flows into the pressure tank through the funnel. A flow of nitrogen into the pressure tank is maintained through a side inlet of the pressure tank. Oil is dispensed from a pressure tank into the transfer line flowing a flow of fluid food product from a batch tank. The dispensed oil is dispersed into the flow of fluid food product in a inline shear mixer creating oil-in-fluid food product droplets. The oil-in-fluid food product droplets flow to the batch tank with the flow of fluid food product. The oil-in-fluid food product droplets are distributed in a volume of fluid food product in the batch tank.
