PrOx REACTOR AND FUEL CELL ARRANGEMENT COMPRISING PrOx REACTOR
The invention relates to a PrOx reactor (R) comprising a housing that encloses a reaction space and has a first inlet (E1) for supply of a hydrogenous first gas (G1) to a reaction space, a second inlet (E2) for supply of an oxygenous second gas (G2) to the reaction space and an outlet (A) for discharge of a third gas (G3), wherein there is a multitude of conduits (Kv) extending from the second inlet (E2) into the reaction space, each of which comprises at least one opening (O) for supply of the second gas (G2) to the reaction space.
Disassemblable stacked flow reactor
A plate-type flow reactor device with a first plate (20) having first and second opposing surfaces (22, 24) and one or more through-holes (26); a second plate sealed against the first surface (22) by at least two first O-rings (50); a third plate (40) sealed against the second surface (24) by at least one second O-ring (60); two or more first elongated channels (70) defined between the first surface (22) and the second plate and one or more second elongated channels (80) defined between the second surface (24) and the third plate, wherein each first channel communicates with the at least one second channel (80) via one or more of the through-holes (26) through the first plate (20), and said one first channel (70a) communicates with another first channel (70b) of the two or more first channels (70) only via said at least one second channel (80), and each first channel (70) is individually surrounded by at least one of the first O-rings (50) and the at least one second is individually surrounded by the at least one second O-ring (60).
A REFORMER FOR A FUEL CELL SYSTEM
A fuel cell system comprising a fuel cell stack, an evaporator for evaporating a mixture of methanol and water to be forwarded through a catalytic reformer for producing portions of free hydrogen. The fuel cell stack being composed of a number of proton exchange membrane fuel cells each featuring electrodes in form of an anode and a cathode for delivering an electric current. The system provides an enhanced catalytic reformer for a fuel cell system, which enables a compact design of the reformer for integration into a flat, rack mountable system.
INTEGRATED REFORMER AND PURIFIER
Certain configurations described herein comprise a reformer that is operative to liberate hydrogen gas from a hydrogen-rich feedstock in a catalytic reforming reaction, where a hydrogen purifier is effective to remove and purify hydrogen gas, in a thermally integrated assembly combining the reformer and purifier. Methods of using the combined reformer/purifier are also described.
Jig for inserting filling member into reactor
A jig for inserting a packing into a flow passage of a reactor extending in one direction or for removing the packing from the flow passage, includes: a pair of strip portions extending in parallel with each other, having a length longer than the flow passage; and link portions arranged in an extending direction of the pair of strip portions, linking the pair of strip portions and having lengths with which the pair of strip portions sandwich the packing therebetween.
Catalytic reactor
In a catalytic reactor including catalyst carriers inserted into a plurality of channels defined by corrugated fins, the corrugated fins include a first corrugated fin, and a second corrugated fin arranged to adjoin the first corrugated fin. When viewed from the first corrugated fin toward the second corrugated fin along the channels, at least a portion of side walls of the second corrugated fin is located between two adjacent ones of side walls of the first corrugated fin at adjoining end faces of the first and second corrugated fins.
