PUMP DISPENSER
A pump dispenser having a bottle with a neck and a pump assembly. The pump assembly includes an actuator, a closure connected to the actuator and coupled to the neck of the bottle, a dip tube, and a dual chamber pump. The dual chamber pump includes a piston assembly, a sealing cap, and a housing, which includes a pump chamber, a storage chamber having a cavity, and a core. The sealing cap is rigidly connected to the core and closes the storage chamber at a lower portion such that the substance to be released remains stored in the storage chamber cavity. When the actuator is pushed down for a first time by a user, a piston assembly moves to push down a connecting stem, which pushes down the sealing cap to open the storage chamber for releasing the substance contained in the storage chamber from the bottle.
DISPENSER CAP GUARD
A cap guard includes an annular collar having a collar sidewall, a connecting rim extending from an upper portion of the collar sidewall, and an open top; the collar sidewall having a collar internal snap bead extending around the collar sidewall interior and the connecting rim having an external snap bead extending partially around the connecting rim exterior, the connecting rim external snap bead having at least one break and the break having a distance D; an annular over cap having an over cap sidewall and a closed top surface; an alignment snap bead around the over cap sidewall internal surface, the alignment snap bead having a length L.sup.1 equal to or less than the distance D; one or more securing snap beads around the over cap sidewall internal surface separate from the alignment snap bead, each securing snap bead having a length L.sup.2 greater than the distance D.
APPLICATOR WITH DIVERTER PLATE
An applicator for dispensing multiple adhesives on a substrate is disclosed. The applicator includes a manifold that includes a first dispensing module and a second dispensing module. The first dispensing module has a first inlet and a first nozzle. The first inlet receives a first adhesive and the first nozzle applies the first adhesive to the substrate. The second dispensing module is adjacent the first dispensing module and has a second inlet and a second nozzle. The second inlet receives a second adhesive that is different from the first adhesive. The second nozzle applies the second adhesive to the substrate.
PUMP OVERTUBES AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
A pump system (100) including an overtube adapter (140) and an overtube (150) attached to the overtube adapter (140), the overtube (150) capable of being selectively attached to the overtube adapter (140) to provide different overtube (150) aesthetics for pump systems and fragrance products.
Pump attachment member
A pump attachment member, produced by plastic moulding, having a skirt, an annular plate and a receiving sleeve defining a receiving recess formed by a moulding pin which is forcibly withdrawn on release from the mould, the receiving recess having an inwardly projecting annular inlet rib, the attachment flange of a distribution member being held in the receiving recess by said annular inlet rib. The annular inlet rib having retaining segments for engaging with the attachment flange and mould release segments for engaging with the moulding pin on release from the mould.
Applicator with diverter plate
An applicator for dispensing adhesive and a method of diverting flow in an applicator are disclosed. The applicator includes a plurality of pump assemblies each having an inlet and an outlet, a plurality of dispensing modules each having an inlet, and a flow diverter plate in fluid communication with the plurality of pump assemblies. The flow diverter plate defines a body having a first surface in fluid communication with the plurality of pump assemblies, a second surface opposite the first surface in fluid communication with the plurality of dispensing modules, and a plurality of diverter passages extending from the first surface to the second surface. Each of the plurality of diverter passages has a first opening on the first surface and a second opening on the second surface, and the first opening is in fluid communication with the outlet of one of the plurality of pump assemblies, and the second opening is in fluid communication with the inlet of at least one of the plurality of dispensing modules.
Fluid product dispenser
A fluid dispenser device comprising: a reservoir (1) including a neck (12); a dispenser member (2) that is mounted in the neck (10), the dispenser member (2) being provided with a dip tube (23); and a cover tube (5) that surrounds said dip tube (23); the fluid dispenser device being characterized in that, in the proximity of its connection top end (52), said cover tube (5) includes at least one vent (55) having a total flow section (St) that presents a size that is sufficient to enable the fluid to rise in the cover tube (5) while the cover tube is being inserted quickly into the fluid reservoir (1) in the filled state, without being significantly disturbed by the air that is evacuated from the cover tube (5) through said at least one vent (55).
DISPENSER FOR LIQUID TO PASTY SUBSTANCES
A dispenser for liquid to pasty substances, has a dispenser head and a dispenser body. The dispenser head is movable in a displacement direction perpendicular to the horizontal bearing plane between an extended position and a retracted position for carrying out a pumping movement, the dispenser head can rotate relative to the dispenser body in such a way that the dispenser mouth moves in a horizontal plane when the dispenser head is rotated. In order to provide an advantageous design of dispenser of the type in question, the dispenser has a tamper-proofing part which is secured to two parts of the dispenser which can rotate relative to each other, at one of the parts by a rupturable material bridge, and the material bridge can be ruptured in the course of a rotation of the dispenser head.
LIQUID DISPENSER
A liquid dispenser has a liquid reservoir for storing liquid prior to discharge and a nozzle unit through which liquid is discharged in a discharge direction. The liquid dispenser also has an actuating handle actuable in a direction that deviates from the discharge direction in order to convey liquid from the liquid reservoir to the nozzle unit. The liquid dispenser has an inner housing to which the actuating handle is pivotably articulated, and an outer housing displaceable in a translational manner relative to the inner housing between a first end position and a second end position. The actuating handle and the outer housing have cooperating locking positions which prevent actuation of the actuating handle in the first end position and which allow actuation of the actuating handle in the second end position.
ADHESIVE DISPENSING SYSTEM WITH CONVERTIBLE NOZZLE ASSEMBLIES
An adhesive dispensing system for applying liquid adhesive to a substrate using different nozzles with the same manifold is disclosed. The adhesive dispensing system includes a manifold having a body, a first clamp configured to engage the body of the manifold, a second clamp configured to engage the body of the manifold, and a nozzle. The first and second clamps secure the nozzle to the body of the manifold. The body of the manifold has a first contact surface that engages the first clamp and a second contact surface that engages the second clamp and the nozzle, where the second contact surface is angularly offset from the first contact surface.
