CONTAINER WITH INSET NECK AND DISCREET PUMP ASSEMBLY
20250050362 · 2025-02-13 ·

A container comprising concavity in which a container neck is situated, inset from the top of the container, such that a pump assembly may be fastened to said inset neck resulting in a more discreet form, a container design that is less overpowered by protruding a protruding pump, and a more volume-efficient assembly. Additionally, space between the pump assembly and a peripheral wall of said concavity is reserved such that an annular wall of a pump head may move within said space when the pump head is pressed to dispense the contents of the container.

PUMP DISPENSERS

A pump dispenser has a pump body and a reciprocable plunger with a lock-down mechanism, comprising internal or external lock formations of the plunger and body, such as thread formations, by which the plunger can be locked down for shipping and released subsequently by a rotational release movement. To supplement security for demanding shipping conditions the dispenser also has a supplementary catch mechanism in which respective catch formations of the plunger and body engage selectively in the locked-down position to inhibit the rotational release movement. The catch formations may have circumferentially-directed surfaces which engage between the underside of a plunger head having a shroud and a nozzle and the top of the body beneath the plunger head. They can be released by resilient deformation of one or more of the catch formations.

A pump dispenser has a pump body held down onto the neck of a container by a closure cap, securing by a rotational engagement, typically a screw thread. To supplement security for demanding shipping conditions the cap and neck have a supplementary locking mechanism which engages selectively in the fully screwed-down position of the cap to inhibit its rotational release of the cap. It may have respective hooked lugs of the cap and neck. Inward lugs or catches may be carried on a bottom collar of the cap. The mechanism may be releasable, such as by resilient deformation such as lateral squeezing to disengage a cap lug from a neck lug. Alternatively a barbed retaining collar, engaging beneath a retaining flange on the neck, may connect to the closure such as through frangible links.

The invention is a fluid dispensing device suited to be connected, by means of a connection element (220), to a container (C) holding the fluid that can be dispensed from the inside to the outside of the container through an actuator element (400), comprising: a suction duct (240) suited to communicate with the fluid held inside the container (C), a dispenser duct (440) in communication with the outer space with respect to the volume (V) enclosed by the container (C), a suction/compression chamber (300) that can communicate with the suction duct (240) and the dispenser duct (440), a suction valve (260) suited to alternatively allow and prevent the passage of a fluid between the suction duct (240) and the suction/compression chamber (300) when, respectively, the suction valve is closed and open, a dispensing valve (460) suited to alternatively allow and prevent the passage of a fluid between the dispenser duct (440) and the suction/compression chamber (300) when, respectively, the suction valve is closed and open, a tight membrane (500) slidingly coupled with the walls of the suction/compression chamber (300) so that it can be translated in a predetermined direction; both the suction valve (260) and the dispensing valve (460) comprise the membrane (500). The invention concerns also a system for containing and dispensing fluids (F).

PUMP DISPENSER AND CONTAINERS
20250091072 · 2025-03-20 ·

A pump dispenser comprising a container having a neck (6) to which the pump is attached. A pump body (1) has an outward flange (91) through which it is supported on the edge of the container neck (6). A body/neck rotation stop mechanism (64,7) is provided by an interlock engagement between the pump body and the container neck, and has widely-spaced interlock projections (64) on the container neck (6), e.g. one or two projections, each having a circumferentially-directed abutment face (642). A series of spaced interlock teeth (71) projects down from the outward flange (91) of the pump body and these have respective abutment faces (711) to engage the neck projections and limit relative rotation of the pump body and neck. This can assure reliable action of a plunger-locking mechanism of the dispenser.

A container includes a container main body that is composed of a main-body forming sheet member and surrounds a containing portion, wherein the container main body includes a first surface portion, a second surface portion that is arranged so as to face the first surface portion with the containing portion being arranged therebetween, and a gusset portion which connects the first surface portion and the second surface portion to each other. The gusset portion is provided with a discharge port that discharges a contents from the containing portion. The main-body forming sheet member includes a main-body sealing portion in which a plurality of film layers are attached to each other, a non-attached region in which the plurality of film layers are partially non-attached to each other, and a filling portion in which a filler can be enclosed between layers of the plurality of film layers in the non-attached region.

PUMP DISPENSER WITH LOCKING FEATURE
20170021376 · 2017-01-26 ·

A pump dispenser includes a dispenser head rotatable relative to a locking ring for a lock-down feature during shipment. The lock-down feature requires a greater torque to initially rotate the dispenser head from the lock-down position, and a lesser torque to further rotate the dispenser head to a use position. The lock-down feature incorporates an interference between the dispenser head and locking ring, either inside the dispenser head, on an outer periphery of the dispenser head, or between threads connecting the dispenser head and locking ring.

Press-type liquid pump

The present invention relates to a press-type liquid pump. The liquid pump comprises a fixed unit fixed relative to a container and a movable unit capable of performing a reciprocating motion relative to the fixed unit, and a liquid product is pumped to the exterior of the container. The reciprocating motion is achieved by a pressing force applied by a user to the movable unit to move the movable unit relative to the fixed unit in combination with an elastic restoring means for restoring the movable unit relative to the fixed unit after the pressing force is removed. The elastic restoring means is a plastic elastic compressing means located below a toothed sleeve and installed between the fixed unit and the movable unit, which comprises at least one elastic strip generally formed in an arc shape.
