Dispensing pump with polymer spring, base venting and flow baffle
A dispensing pump includes a polymer compression spring assembly, base vents and a flow baffle. The dispensing pump includes a pump base, and a dispensing head having a piston stem. The polymer compression spring assembly includes a slotted tubular spring element and first and second loading cones received at opposing ends of the slotted tubular spring element. The venting ports allow air to escape when capping the container after filling and the flow baffle reduces or prevents the product from being pulled into the pump accumulator before residual air (headspace) has been evacuated from the container during the initial priming strokes.
FLUID PUMP
A fluid pump includes a press head portion, first and second unidirectional-valves, and extensible sleeve-pipe. Disposed in the press head portion, the first unidirectional-valve allows fluid to flow from its second end to its first end. The extensible sleeve-pipe includes a rebound element and outer and inner pipes which form a capacity-variable storage chamber. The inner pipe has a first end communicating with the first unidirectional-valve and a second end fitted to a first end of the outer pipe. The second unidirectional-valve allows the fluid to flow from its second end to its first end. The first end of the second unidirectional-valve communicates with the second end of the outer pipe. Upon contraction displacement of the inner pipe, the fluid flows from the storage chamber into the discharge passage via first unidirectional-valve. Upon expansion displacement of the inner pipe, the fluid flows into the storage chamber via second unidirectional-valve.
Metered and active sprayer devices with aerosol functionality (“Flairosol II”)
In exemplary embodiments of the present invention, “Flairosol” dispensing devices can be provided. Such devices utilize a combination of Flair® technology, pre-compression valves and aerosol-like pressurization of the dispensed liquid. Such a dispensing device has, for example, a main body comprising a pressure chamber, the latter being provided with a pressure piston and a pressure spring. The device further has a piston and a piston chamber which draws liquid from a container, for example, the inner container of a Flair® bottle, and fills the pressure chamber with that liquid as a user operates a trigger in various compression and release strokes. The piston chamber has both an inlet valve and an outlet valve, which serve to prevent backflow. Liquid exiting the piston chamber under pressure (supplied by, a user pumping the trigger) enters a central vertical channel which is in fluid communication with both the pressure chamber (above the pressure piston) and a dome valve provided near the outlet channel at the top of the dispensing head. The dome valve has a preset pressure, such that once exceeded by the liquid, opens and allows for a spray. If the liquid pressure drops below such preset pressure, the dome valve closes off the outlet channel, which serves to regulate the strength of the flow and preclude leakage. Alternatively, in an activated embodiment, for example, once the liquid is sufficiently pressurized, it can be dispensed by a user allowing the dome valve to open by pressing on an activation button that removes a dome lock.
Spray pump
A spray pump is disclosed. A spray pump according to an aspect of the present invention comprises: a housing having an inflow space, the housing being coupled to a container entrance; a housing cover coupled to the upper end of the housing; a disk for opening or closing the housing according to the pressure in the inflow space; a valve movably inserted into the housing cover, the valve comprising a valve head and a valve body communicating with the valve head; a guide having a part inserted into the valve body and the remainder positioned on the outside of the valve body, the guide having a guide passage corresponding to a channel through which content is discharged; a valve spring for providing an elastic force that pressurizes the valve upwards; a piston movably inserted into the outer peripheral surface of the guide so as to open or close the guide passage by means of upward/downward movements of the valve; a nozzle coupled to the valve head and having an insert insertion portion; and an insert inserted into the insert insertion portion and having an orifice. The valve head has a valve passage communicating with the guide passage. The valve passage has a valve helical groove formed on the inner peripheral surface thereof.
DISPENSER FOR DISPENSING A FLUID
A fluid dispenser includes a ring nut to be screwed on a bottle neck and including a shoulder and a collar extending in elevation from the shoulder. It also includes a dispensing head including a central portion, a spout designed to dispense the fluid contained in the bottle and a protective skirt extending to contain the collar of the ring nut. The protective skirt extends close to a peripheral portion of the shoulder and, in a closed configuration of the dispenser, has a safety distance from the shoulder. The dispensing head includes a cylindrical crown shaped to form a toothed profile and located between the protective skirt and the central portion. The ring nut collar includes gripping elements with a longitudinal extension and the toothed profile engages the gripping elements when closed. The toothed profile and the gripping elements are shaped to allow reciprocal rotation of the dispensing head.
COSMETIC CONTAINER
Disclosed herein is a cosmetic container. The cosmetic container includes an inner cap coupled to a mouth of the container that accommodates contents therein, a pump coupled to the inner cap and inserted into the mouth of the container to discharge a fixed amount of contents, a push button provided in an upper portion of the inner cap, operating the pump by a push operation, and having on a side thereof a nozzle to discharge the contents, and a dip tube coupled at one end thereof to the pump to communicate therewith and inclined at the other end thereof downwards in a direction of a tip of the nozzle, a tip of the dip tube being disposed on an edge of a bottom surface of the container.
Compact dispensing device
A dispensing device including a bottle provided with a neck and a trigger dispensing head fitted to the neck is provided. The dispensing head includes a socket at least partially housed in the neck compartment, a main body that, with the socket, delimits a valve compartment in the neck, a valve group, a piston, a chassis, a trigger group, and elastic return elements. The valve group is contained in the valve compartment, limiting the overall size of the device.
