An all-polymer reciprocating pump (100) is contemplated. The pump body (160) receives a sliding insert (170) that may be locked in a down position to minimize the extension and profile of the actuator (120) while the pump (100) is not in use (e.g., for purposes of shipping in e-commerce). Projections (171) slide within guides (181) formed on an insert housing (180). Even in this down locked position, minimal compression is applied to the biasing members (130) so as to avoid fatigue, wear, and/or failure of the plastic components.

A dispenser for dispensing flowable, for example liquid or paste-like, compounds, includes a storage reservoir for receiving the compound, and a preferably modular dispenser pump having an inlet channel and an outlet channel and a pump chamber delimited on the inlet and the outlet side by valves, and also having a head piece, the head piece having a dispensing opening, and a restoring device formed by a spring is further provided between the head piece and the storage reservoir. Provided is a system and method for a vaporizer cartridge system wherein the cartridge provides the diffuser. More specifically, an embodiment of the system includes a vaporizing device providing a heating element proximate to a removable cartridge system receiving port, and a dispenser trigger structured and arranged to engage the removable cartridge to dispense a predetermined amount of a liquid concentrate from within the removable cartridge. The system further includes a cartridge with diffuser including: a housing; a reservoir of liquid concentrate; a diffuser element; a metered dispenser structured and arranged to dispense from the reservoir into the diffuser element a predetermined amount of liquid concentrate. An associated method of use is also provided.

A manually operated, high pressure pump featuring all plastic construction, is presented. The high pressure is suitable for dispensing liquids in the form of mists. Used pumps do not require disassembly to be recycled.

Disclosed are self-sealing actuators and pumps for distributing fluids such as personal care products. The actuator can include a nozzle having an outlet that is opens and closes via movement of a plug. A limit rod is configured to engage with the plug and upon actuation the assembly opens a passage for the fluid to flow through an inner channel of the limit rod and to the outlet. Upon de-actuation, the assembly closes the passage sealing the fluid within a closed environment to prevent degradation and caking. Actuators and pumps as described protect the performance of active ingredients within the fluid and prevent the nozzle and outlet from blocking with dried or caked fluid.

A micro pump vessel has an outer vessel on one side of which a button is formed and an outer vessel lid which is hinge-coupled to one side of the outer vessel to be opened and closed.
