The lubricated face is a contact face between the first and second laminate; or it is a non-contact face between the first and second laminate, in this case being provided the intermediate steps of winding the double laminate obtaining a wound double laminate having n coils; partially separating the wound double laminate by unwinding, by one coil, both the aluminum foils of one of the first and second laminate, obtaining an at least partially wound double laminate having an end portion constituted by a respective portion of both the aluminum foils of only one of the first and second laminate.

Hot rolling method

A method for the regulation of at least one of the parameters () of a hot rolling process of a semi-finished metal product in at least one rolling mill stand having at least two work rolls is provided. In a facility for cold rolling a metal strip in a circulating oil-feeding system by jetting a low concentration coolant, in a neighborhood of an inlet side of a work roll and jetting a high concentration coolant at an upstream side of the jetting position of the low concentration coolant to conduct rolling, the metal strip is cold rolled with the cold rolling facility provided with a control equipment for varying a jetting amount of the low concentration coolant in accordance with a rolling rate so that a tip of a liquid pool of the low concentration coolant formed on a surface of a steel sheet at an inlet side of the work roll does not reach a jetting position of the high concentration coolant, whereby the rolling can be performed without losing a plate-out property even if the rolling rate is decreased.

Lubrication using spray nozzles having multiple oil inlet openings

During the rolling of a metallic flat rolling stock (1) in a roll stand (2), lubricating oil (5) is sprayed onto the rolling stock (1) and/or at least one roll (3,4) of the roll stand (2) by multiple spray nozzles (7) arranged beside one another. In each case, a mixing chamber (8) of a spray nozzle (7) is fed with a respective quantity of lubricating oil (5) via respective multiple oil inlet openings (9). The respective mixing chamber (8) is fed with compressed air (11) via respectively one air inlet opening (10). Compressed air (11) atomizes the lubricating oil (5) in the respective mixing chamber (8) to form an aerosol and, via respectively at least one nozzle outlet (12), is sprayed onto the rolling stock (1) and/or the at least one roll (3,4) of the roll stand (2).

LUBRICATING DEVICE FOR APPLYING A LUBRICANT WHEN ROLLING A ROLLING MATERIAL

A lubrication device (1) for applying a lubricant when rolling a rolling material. The lubrication device (1) includes an extruded profile (3), through which run lubricant ducts (41) and at least one carrier medium duct (42), at least one connection block (5, 6) and nozzles (7). The connection block (5, 6) is connected to the extruded profile (3) and has lubricant connection ducts (54) that are each connected to one lubricant duct (41) of the extruded profile (3). The nozzles (7) are connected to the extruded profile (3) and are designed to create and emit a lubricant-carrier medium mixture consisting of lubricant and a carrier medium.

ROLLING OF A ROLLED MATERIAL

The invention relates to a rolling apparatus for rolling a rolled material, and to a method for operating the rolling apparatus. The rolling apparatus has two rolling stands, which each have two working rolls distanced from one another by a nip, through which the rolled material can be guided. In a first operating mode, a lubricant mixture, formed of a carrier gas and a lubricant, and coolant are applied to at least one working roll of a first rolling stand and/or to at least one rolled material surface of the rolled material. In a second operating mode, a skin pass agent is applied to at least one working roll of the first rolling stand, at least one working roll of the second rolling stand and/or at least one rolled material surface of the rolled material.

Method and apparatus for roll-embossing a strip

Provided is a method for rolling a strip with a roll stand with at least two work rolls. A rolling gap with a pass line is defined between the work rolls. A control roll is arranged before the rolling gap of the work rolls in the rolling direction, the strip is guided into the rolling gap of the roll stand via the control roll at an entry angle relative to the pass line and the surface structure of the strip is controlled through the selection of the entry angle depending on the positioning of the control roll relative to the pass line. Also provided is an apparatus for rolling a strip with a roll stand having at least two work rolls. A rolling gap with a pass line is defined between the work rolls.

In a tandem type cold rolling mill of a circulating oil-feeding system for continuously rolling a steel sheet by feeding a coolant serving as a rolling oil and a cooling water to each stand, an edge heater for heating both edge portions of the steel sheet to not lower than 60 C. as a steel sheet temperature at an entry side of a roll bite is arranged at an upstream side of the first stand in the cold rolling mill and a device for jetting a coolant having a concentration higher than that of the coolant fed to the firsts stand onto surfaces of both edge portions of the steel sheet is arranged between the edge heater and the first stand. The cold rolling mill can be used to roll a hard-to-roll material such as silicon or stainless steel sheet without causing an edge crack or sheet breakage in low-speed rolling.

A spray lubrication system of sheets is provided with electronically adjustable frequency spraying valves housed at upper and lower spraying heads. Sheets travel between heads on three motorized rolls. The sheet is clamped between rolls and contrast wheels. Sensors monitor and adjust lubricant temperature. A first group of motion sensors detect whether the sheet passes at each spraying valve or not. Using the first sensor group, the system can self-learn the shape of the sheet. A second group of motion sensors at both spraying heads detects whether a lubricant spraying is present at each valve. Using the second sensors, the system can diagnose a malfunction whenever a discrepancy is found between the spraying frequency controlled to a valve and whether a spraying is present at each valve. The upper spraying head is in a box for aspirating the oil mists generated by the lubrication system during the work cycle.

The foils are coupled to obtain a coupled foil having two outer faces and rolling the coupled foil, reducing the thickness of the coupled foil. One face between the two outer faces of the coupled foil is lubricated to obtain a coupled foil having a second lubricated face. The coupled foil is then wound to obtain a wound coupled foil. The coupled foil is partially separated by unwinding one of the first and second foils, to obtain a wound coupled foil. The wound coupled foil is unwound and rolled to obtain a coupled foil with reduced thickness and is then separated to obtain first and second foils with respective first and second reduced thicknesses.
