GROOMING DEVICE WITH EJECT BUTTON DISPLACEMENT

A grooming device. The grooming device includes a handle having a housing portion with proximal and distal ends. A displacement sensor is positioned within the handle. A power source is positioned within the handle and provides power to the displacement sensor. A neck portion of the handle has proximal and distal ends and the distal end of the neck portion is connected to the proximal end of the housing portion. An implement connecting structure is positioned at the proximal end of the neck portion and includes a connection element. An eject element is moveable within the handle, and a location element is connected to the eject element. A grooming implement is connected to the connection element. As the eject element moves to eject the grooming implement from the connection element the displacement sensor detects displacement of the location element.

Magnetic attachment for shaving cartridge

Shaving systems are disclosed that include a replaceable shaving assembly and a cartridge connecting structure for connecting the shaving assembly to a handle. In preferred implementations, the cartridge connecting structure has a magnetic portion configured to help draw the cartridge onto the handle and retain the cartridge in place when the razor is not in contact with the skin, and a mechanical engagement that provides the necessary retention forces required to keep the system intact during shaving.

CONNECTION SYSTEM FOR SAFETY RAZORS

A connection system for connecting a safety razor handle (50) to a replaceable blade cartridge (10), comprising: a cartridge connecting structure (120) attached to the replaceable blade cartridge (10); and a handle connecting structure (102) attached to the safety razor handle (50) and configured to be brought into engagement with the cartridge connecting structure (120) along a connection axis, wherein the handle connecting structure (102) comprises a lever (112) mounted to a body (103), the lever (112) having a user end (113) to be actuated by a user, a working end (114), and a rotation axis (115) about which the lever (112) is rotatable with respect to the body (103), the rotation axis (115) being situated between the user end (113) and the working end (114), and the working end (114) of the lever (112) is configured to exert a pushing force on the cartridge connecting structure (120) when the lever (112) is rotated by actuation of the user end (113), to eject the cartridge connecting structure (120) from the handle connecting structure (102).

Razor handle with a pivoting portion

A razor handle. The razor handle can have a main body and a pivoting head pivotally coupled with the main body about a first axis of rotation. A severable benefit delivery member can extend from a main body connection on the main body to a pivoting head connection on the pivoting head, the benefit delivery member providing a first biasing torque on the pivoting head to affect an angular deflection about the first axis of rotation of the pivoting head relative to the main body. A spring member can extend from a spring-main-body connection on the main body to a spring-pivoting-head connection on the pivoting head, the spring member applying a second biasing torque to affect an angular deflection about the first axis of rotation of the pivoting head relative to the main body. A ratio of the sum of the first and second pivoting torques divided by the angular deflection in radians to the second pivoting torque divided by the angular deflection in radians of the pivoting head with the pivot benefit delivery connection severed can be greater than 2:1.

Safety Razor, and Connector and Handle for a Safety Razor

A safety razor has a blade unit with a housing and a razor blade, and an elongated handle having a uniform thickness and having a first end including an aperture extending into the thickness, and an opposed second end. The safety razor also has a connector to connect the blade unit to the handle. A body of the connector has a recess with an opening, and a user-operable latch including a protrusion extending into the recess. The first end of the handle is removably received in the recess and the protrusion is received in the aperture to secure the handle to the connector. The protrusion is releasable from the aperture by a user-applied force to a lever at an end of the latch opposite the protrusion end to release the first end of the handle from the recess.

Mechanical assembly of a skin care device, skin care device and process for manufacturing thereof

A kit of incompatible skincare devices may include a connector assembly for connecting a head and a handle of a skincare device to one another. The connector assembly may include a first positioning element connected to a mechanical assembly of the connector assembly and a second positioning element connected to an adaptor of the connector assembly. The mechanical assembly may be insertable in the adaptor along an insertion direction and engageable to the adaptor when the first and second positioning elements correspond to one another. The adaptor may extend along the insertion direction from the second positioning element. The mechanical assembly may extend along the insertion direction from the first positioning element. The first and second positioning elements may be configured to interfere with engagement of the mechanical assembly to the adaptor when the first and second positioning elements do not correspond to one another.

The present disclosed subject matter provides a razor blade head with finger slots, depressions (indentations) which extend into the razor blade head, for receiving human fingers, allowing for the razor blade head, typically attached to the handle of a razor, and therefore, the razor, to be manipulated with more precision, control, and force, than by using the handle alone.

Razor cartridge connection and handle

A connector for a razor handle having first and second arms, each arm including a fixed end, a terminal end where the terminal end has a razor cartridge engagement member movable from a capture position to a release position, a first surface and an opposed second surface. An activator having an activation element acts on each arm for moving the arms toward each other into the release position when the activator is activated, and a biasing member that acts on each arm for biasing the arms outwardly into the capture position. The activation element acts on the arms between the fixed end and the terminal end on the first surface of the arms and the biasing member acts on the arms between the fixed end and the terminal end on the second surface of the arms.

ADAPTER FOR RAZOR SYSTEM

A razor head and an adapter. The adapter is designed to be connected to the razor head and is designed to be connected to a handle, wherein the razor head can be rotated with respect to the adapter around a razor head axis. According to the present disclosure, a razor head biasing member is at least partially arranged within the adapter. With that, the manufacturing and mounting procedure is facilitated. The razor head biasing member comprises a compression spring element and a pusher element for pushing the razor head into a rest position.
