A shaving apparatus including a handle and a cartridge connected to an upper end of the handle is provided. The cartridge includes at least two sub-cartridges connected to each other in a rigid connection or a detachable connection. Each of the sub-cartridges includes one or more blades extending outwardly at an acute angle relative to a face of the sub-cartridge and projecting generally away from a central longitudinal axis of the cartridge. The blades of a first of the two sub-cartridges are parallel to the blades of a second of the two sub-cartridges and positioned in a direction that opposes a direction of the blades of the second of the two sub-cartridges.

Razor handle

A razor handle with a counterbalance of a weight and/or magnet disposed therein are disclosed. The handle may include upper and lower enclosures extending between two opposing ends and may be divided into two parts: a base and an arm. The weight and/or magnet may be disposed within the base and between the upper and lower enclosures, and a horizontal length of the base may be less than the horizontal length of the arm. The counterbalance creates a center of mass of the base which is horizontally closer to a pivot surface than a center of mass of the arm. As a result, whenever a lower surface of the arm or a surface of an upper enclosure is placed in a resting position on a horizontal surface when the razor is not employed by a user, a cartridge coupled to the razor handle will not contact the horizontal surface.

A SHAVER'S HANDLE WITH A LOCK AND RELEASE MECHANISM FOR ENGAGING AND DISENGAGING A RAZOR CARTRIDGE

A handle for a shaving razor adapted to releasably support a razor cartridge is provided. The handle includes a handle body and an actuation button actuable to release the razor cartridge. At least part of the actuation button has a substantially spherical shape and is positioned to allow a finger of a user to make contact with the substantially spherical shape when actuating the actuation button.

A shaving device comprising a head assembly having a support member and a blade cartridge. The support member is configured to be detachably coupled to a handle. The blade cartridge has a first and a second face wherein at least one of the first or second faces comprises at least one razor blade. The blade cartridge is configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis such that the blade cartridge is pivotable by a user to select one of the first or second faces.

MAGNETIC ATTACHMENT FOR SHAVING CARTRIDGE

Shaving systems are disclosed that include a replaceable shaving assembly and a cartridge connecting structure for connecting the shaving assembly to a handle. In preferred implementations, the cartridge connecting structure has a magnetic portion configured to help draw the cartridge onto the handle and retain the cartridge in place when the razor is not in contact with the skin, and a mechanical engagement that provides the necessary retention forces required to keep the system intact during shaving.

Shaving Device

A shaving device comprising a handle, a support member, a blade cartridge retention frame, and a replaceable blade assembly. The support member is disposed about a first end of the handle and includes at least one arm extending outward from a yoke. The blade cartridge retention frame includes a blade cartridge retention frame magnet and is coupled to the at least one arm and configured to pivot about a pivot axis. The replaceable blade assembly includes a blade assembly magnet and a blade assembly body having a face with a razor blade. The blade assembly magnet and the blade cartridge retention frame magnet are configured to create a repulsive magnetic force therebetween to releasably couple the replaceable blade assembly to the blade cartridge retention frame.
