ELECTRONIC SUBASSEMBLY FOR A PERSONAL CARE PRODUCT
20170264036 · 2017-09-14 ·

An electronic subassembly for a personal care product with a housing defining a chamber. The housing has a tapered guide surface. A first circuit board having a rigid end is positioned within the chamber and a flexible portion positioned outside the chamber. A second circuit board is positioned within the chamber of the housing. The second circuit board has an electrical connector dimensioned to receive the rigid end. An adapter is secured to the first circuit board between the rigid end and the flexible portion. The adapter has a corresponding tapered guide surface that engages the tapered guide surface of the housing to align the rigid end with the electrical connector.

Shaver

A shaver comprising a handle with an elongated handgrip portion and a mounting portion, a shaver head attached to the mounting portion, the shaver head having a back structure. A removable cartridge is attached to the shaver head through an elastic member provided on the back structure of the shaver head.

RAZOR CARTRIDGE

A razor cartridge comprising a housing extending longitudinally along a longitudinal axis, wherein the housing comprises a leading longitudinal side, a trailing longitudinal side, and a cutting member mounting portion in-between the leading and trailing longitudinal sides for accommodating a plurality of cutting members; and a plurality of cutting members disposed at least partially in the cutting member mounting portion, wherein each cutting member is arranged between a leading longitudinal side and a trailing longitudinal side of the razor cartridge in a shaving direction of the razor cartridge, wherein one or more of the cutting members comprises a blade support having a blade mounting portion, and a blade attached to the blade mounting portion.

Razor handle comprising inserts within holes and razor comprising such a razor handle

A razor includes a razor handle connected to a razor cartridge. The razor handle includes an elongated body extending in a longitudinal direction, and having an upper face and a lower face opposite the upper face. The upper face and lower face form at least a portion of an outermost surface of the razor handle. The outermost surface is provided with a first hole and a second hole. The first and second holes open on the outermost surface of the razor handle. The first hole extends from the upper face to the lower face of the outermost surface of the elongated body and includes an insert partially encapsulated within the first hole. The second hole includes an elongated bar or rib dividing the second hole into two parts. The elongated bar or rib extend in the longitudinal direction and is exposed on the upper face of the elongated body.

BLADE ASSEMBLY ATTACHMENT MECHANISM AND MODULAR RAZOR ASSEMBLY

This application relates to a razor assembly comprising a blade assembly configured to removably connect with an attachment mechanism; a handle having a distal end configured to removably connect with the attachment mechanism providing a first pivotal movement about a first axis between the handle and the attachment mechanism; where the attachment mechanism comprises a connection portion configured to provide a second pivotal movement between the blade assembly and the attachment mechanism.

RAZOR WITH HANDLE HAVING ARTICULABLE JOINT
20210402630 · 2021-12-30 ·

A razor has a handle with an articulable joint intermediate the cutting blade and the portion of the handle grasped by a user. The joint connects first and first portions of the handle. A spring is mounted around the tail of a plunger between the portions. The spring projects into a spring channel in the second portion and urges the portions to an initial non-use position.

DUAL SIDED RAZOR

A shaving razor cartridge with a housing having a primary guard at a front of the housing and a secondary cap at a rear of the housing. A bridge member having a primary cap surface and a secondary guard surface is positioned between the primary guard and the secondary cap. The bridge member has a plurality of spaced apart ribs extending transverse to the cutting edge of the first blade and defining a plurality of openings. A first blade is mounted to the housing between the primary guard and the primary cap surface. The first blade has a cutting edge. A second blade having a cutting edge extending in a same direction as the cutting edge of the first blade. The second blade is mounted to the housing between the secondary guard surface and the secondary cap. A width of the bridge member is 2.5 mm to 4 mm.

RAZOR HANDLE WITH A PIVOTING PORTION

A razor handle. The razor handle can have a main body and a pivoting head pivotally coupled with the main body about a first axis of rotation. A severable benefit delivery member can extend from a main body connection on the main body to a pivoting head connection on the pivoting head, the benefit delivery member providing a first biasing torque on the pivoting head to affect an angular deflection about the first axis of rotation of the pivoting head relative to the main body. A spring member can extend from a spring-main-body connection on the main body to a spring-pivoting-head connection on the pivoting head, the spring member applying a second biasing torque to affect an angular deflection about the first axis of rotation of the pivoting head relative to the main body. A ratio of the sum of the first and second pivoting torques divided by the angular deflection in radians to the second pivoting torque divided by the angular deflection in radians of the pivoting head with the pivot benefit delivery connection severed can be greater than 2:1.

RAZOR ASSEMBLY

In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides a razor assembly including a razor cartridge, razor handle, and recovering force-providing unit. The razor cartridge includes a shaving blade having a cutting edge and a blade housing receiving the shaving blade longitudinally. The razor handle is connected to the razor cartridge rotatably about a first rotational axis parallel to longitudinal direction within a rotation range. The recovering force-providing unit provides the razor cartridge rotated about the first rotational axis from a rest position with recovering force returning the razor cartridge to the rest position. The rotation range includes a first pivot section between the rest position and first angle, and a second pivot section between the first angle and a greater second angle. The recovering force increases as the razor cartridge rotates with an increasing rotational angle, at an increasing rate that differs between the first and second pivot sections.
