Apparatuses and methods for removing plant material
A pruning system includes a cutting head comprising upper and lower cutting rings positioned along a bottom portion of one or more tubes. At least one cutting ring is adapted to rotate in a circular motion, while the other cutting ring may be adapted to remain stationary. A vacuum may be applied to suction target plant material, and the cutting head may be lowered toward the target plant material. As adjacent blades from the upper and lower cutting rings are separated in an open position, plant material may be collected in the opening defined by the adjacent blades. As the blades converge, the opening may close, and plant material collected in the opening may be severed from the plant. System variables, may be adjusted to accommodate different types of plant material. The pruning system may be used with a vision system to remove materials from plant beds in a field.
Tool for cutting food into pieces
Provided is a tool for cutting food into pieces, that includes at least one cutting element adjacent to a bearing surface. The cutting element has at least one vertical member forming a longitudinal cutting member provided for slicing the food to be cut longways, and a transverse wall having, on either side of the vertical member, two transverse cutting members provided for separating the food pieces that were sliced longways, so as to provide two channels for cut food. The vertical member has a front notch. A retaining member, which is rigidly connected to the bearing surface, can be inserted into the front notch. Also provided is an accessory for preparing food and to an appliance for preparing food having the above-described tool for cutting food into pieces.
Apparatus and method for cutting products
Apparatus for cutting products, comprising: a base; a cutting head rotatably fitted to the base; an impeller adapted for rotating concentrically within the cutting head to urge products fed into the cutting head towards the circumference of the cutting head by means of centrifugal force; an impeller drive mechanism for driving the rotation of the impeller at an impeller rotational speed setting the centrifugal force; and a cutting head drive mechanism for driving the rotation of the cutting head at a cutting head rotational speed which is greater than the impeller rotational speed.

APPARATUSES FOR CUTTING FOOD PRODUCTS
An apparatus for slicing food product to produce food product slices. The apparatus includes a circular cutting head having an axis and comprising at least one knife assembly on the circumference of the cutting head, a knife extending axially inward and having a corrugated shape to produce a food product slice with generally parallel cuts, wherein the food product slice has a periodic shape characterized by peaks and valleys, and means for securing the knife to the cutting head, the securing means comprising a surface facing radially inward and having a corrugated shape. The corrugated shape of the surface of the securing means is shaped differently than the corrugated shape of the knife to minimize surface contact between unsliced food products and the cutting head.

APPARATUSES FOR CUTTING FOOD PRODUCTS
An apparatus for slicing food product to produce food product slices. The apparatus includes a rotatable cutting wheel having two or more knife assemblies. Each knife assembly includes a knife extending radially between a hub and rim of the cutting wheel. The knife has a leading edge facing a direction of rotation of the cutting wheel and a large-amplitude corrugated shape characterized by peaks and valleys. The knife is secured to the hub and rim with a knife holder, and a clamp secures the knife to a first surface of the knife holder. The knife holder and knife are configured to provide continuous and accurate alignment of an individual food product throughout the slicing thereof by the knife of each knife assembly to produce food product slices with a generally parallel-cut cross-section having a uniform thickness and a large-amplitude periodic shape with an amplitude of 0.1 inch or greater.
