LAMINATED POLYESTER FILM
The invention provides a laminated polyester film that is highly transparent, is resistant to blocking, and has excellent adhesion to a hardcoat layer and UV ink. The laminated polyester film contains a polyester film substrate and a coating layer on at least one surface of the polyester film substrate. The coating layer is formed by curing a composition containing a urethane resin with a polycarbonate structure, a crosslinking agent, and a polyester resin. The maximum value of a nitrogen element distribution curve based on element distribution measurement of the coating layer in the depth direction is present in the vicinity of the surface of the coating layer on a side opposite to the polyester film substrate. The polycarbonate structure is present in a suitable amount at the surface of the coating layer on a side opposite to the polyester film substrate.
Method Of Preparation Of A Decorated Wall Or Floor Panels
The present disclosure relates to a method for producing a decorated wall or floor panel, comprising the method steps: a) providing a first molten polymer mass and a second molten polymer mass; b) extruding the molten polymer masses, wherein in particular each polymer mass is extruded by a separate extruder, wherein the molten polymer masses are layered on top of each other; c) expelling the layered molten polymer masses through a die; d) calibrating the layered molten polymer masses in order to form a plate-shaped carrier comprising at least one carrier layer comprising the first polymer mass and a sealable layer contacting the carrier layer and comprising the second polymer mass. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to plate-shaped carriers and decorative panels produced in this way, and to a device for carrying out the method.
LOW WEIGHT MODULAR CARPET COMPONENTS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
A low-weight carpet tile and process for making the same, wherein the carpet tile comprises a facecloth having a plurality of face yarns tufted through a primary backing, an extruded polymer secondary backing layer, and a reinforcing scrim layer partially un embedded within the extruded polymer secondary backing layer. The top surface and bottom surface of the carpet tile are defined by the facecloth and the reinforcing scrim layer, respectively. A polymer-based resin is extruded onto the facecloth to form an at least substantially uniform secondary backing layer, and the reinforcing scrim layer is laid onto the extruded polymer secondary backing layer while the extruded polymer secondary backing layer remains above a softening temperature for the resin. The entire multi-layer web is then passed through a nip to embed the reinforcing scrim layer into the extruded polymer secondary layer, and the entire web is chilled.
COOLING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COOLING A CONTINUOUS STRIP
The invention relates to a cooling apparatus and a method for cooling a continuous strip, wherein the cooling apparatus comprises a cooling drum and a guiding device for guiding the strip in a plurality of windings around the cooling drum, wherein the guiding device comprises first and second guiding elements, wherein each one of the first guiding elements forms a set with one of the second guiding elements, wherein the first guiding element of the set receives the strip from a first winding in a first winding direction and directs the strip in a first transition direction towards the second guiding element which receives the strip in a second transition direction and directs the strip into a consecutive winding in a second winding direction, wherein the first transition direction is different from the first winding direction and the second transition direction is different from the second winding direction.

Optical sheet forming device and optical sheet forming method
An extruding unit, a forming roll unit and a thick portion forming mechanism are provided. The extruding unit has an ejecting slit which ejects sheet-shaped molten resin. The ejecting slit includes a standard gap portion and an enlarged gap portion. The standard gap portion is formed as a gap having a constant size. The enlarged gap portion is formed as a gap larger than the standard gap portion in a position corresponding to a thick portion. The thick portion forming mechanism forms one or several thick portions which are thicker than other portion, in the sheet-shaped molten resin continuously in the extrusion direction.
Production method and production apparatus for thermoplastic film
In a production apparatus, a pass line for conveying a film is formed in parts of both belts wound on common rolls and in contact with each other across the film, a discharge port of a discharger is so provided that the molten resin reaches one first roll, out of a group of first rolls, on a side upstream of the pass line, and the common rolls include a cooling roll for cooling and solidifying the molten resin discharged from the discharge port and having reached the first roll.
THERMOPLASTIC RESIN SHEET HAVING HAIR-LIKE BODIES, AND MOLDED ARTICLE THEREOF
A thermoplastic resin sheet having hair-like bodies expressing good tactile sensation and surface quality, and a molded article thereof. The thermoplastic resin sheet is arranged regularly on at least one surface of a base layer, a continuous phase being formed without a structural boundary between the base layer and the hair-like bodies, wherein the hair-like bodies have an average height of 30 μm or more and 500 μm or less, the surface having the hair-like bodies has an L* value of 20 or less in an L*a*b* color system based on color difference measurement (JIS Z 8729), and the surface having the hairlike bodies has a 60-degree specular gloss (JIS Z 8741) of 1.5% or less.
