A tool comprises a first rod that extends along a first axis and moves perpendicular to the first axis along a second axis. A first sliding guide moves along the first rod. A second rod extends parallel to the second axis and moves perpendicular to the second axis and parallel to the first axis, and a second sliding guide moves along the second rod. A third rod extends along a third axis and moves perpendicular to the third axis and parallel to the second axis, and a third sliding guide moves along the third rod. A fourth rod extends along a fourth axis and moves perpendicular to the fourth axis and parallel to the first axis, and a fourth sliding guide moves along the fourth rod. The periphery of the sensor network film is secured to the rods, and the rods and guides move simultaneously to stretch the film.

A tensioning device for a sheet of material that includes a first ring with protrusions, a second ring, and a shaft. The first ring and the second ring are positioned such that the sheet of material can be clamped between the first ring and the second ring. The shaft has an outer surface, the outer surface includes a spiral race such that the protrusions of the first ring follow the spiral race, allowing the first ring and the second ring to displace linearly causing the sheet of material to be stretched. The spiral race includes a plurality of notches that correspond to the protrusions.

A film stretching system having the following features: a stretching oven having a plurality of treatment zones through which a plastic foil film can be guided from a feed side to an outlet side through the stretching oven in the drawing-off direction, supply air can be supplied to the respective treatment zone and exhaust air can be discharged therefrom, the ventilation system for the treatment zones is constructed in such a way that exhaust air extracted from the last treatment zone in the drawing-off direction of the plastic foil film is supplied to at least two upstream treatment zones in the drawing-off direction of the plastic foil film, wherein a volume fraction of the exhaust air extracted from the last treatment zone is supplied to only one of the at least two treatment zones and another volume fraction is supplied to only one other of the at least two treatment zones.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR STRETCHING PLASTIC FILMS
A method and an apparatus are directed to stretching plastic films. The plastic film is held at at least two opposite longitudinal sides by a plurality of holding means and the holding means are guided along stretching paths at both longitudinal sides of the plastic film. In order to increase productivity, several plastic films are held, mutually spaced one on top of the other, by the holding means and are simultaneously stretched. The holding means, in terms of their number and/or design, are constructed and arranged such that several plastic films can be simultaneously stretched mutually spaced one on top of the other.

A first return system is provided with at least two extraction channels, each having an intake region. The at least two intake regions are spaced apart from one another in the withdrawal direction and oriented in parallel to the transport plane. The at least one outlet nozzle of the at least one first outlet nozzle arrangement is arranged between the first and the second intake region. The at least two intake regions are arranged exclusively before and/or after the at least one first outlet nozzle arrangement in the withdrawal direction of the plastic film web.
