TRANSGENIC ANIMAL FOR PRODUCTION OF ANTIBODIES HAVING MINIMAL CDRS
A transgenic animal is provided. In certain embodiments, the transgenic animal comprises a genome comprising: an immunoglobulin light chain locus comprising: a) a functional immunoglobulin light chain gene comprising a transcribed variable region encoding: i. light chain CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3 regions that are composed of 2 to 5 different amino acids; and ii. a light chain framework; and, operably linked to the functional immunoglobulin light chain gene: b) a plurality of pseudogene light chain variable regions each encoding: i. light chain CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3 regions that are composed of the same 2 to 5 different amino acids as the CDRs of the functional gene; and ii. a light chain framework that is identical in amino acid sequence to the light chain framework of the transcribed variable region.
Lysosomal storage disease enzymes
The present invention provides compositions of recombinant human lysosomal acid lipase having particular glycosylation patterns for internalization into target cells, a vector containing the nucleic acid encoding human lysosomal acid lipase, a host cell transformed with the vector, pharmaceutical compositions comprising the recombinant human lysosomal acid lipase and method of treating conditions associated with lysosomal acid lipase deficiency.
PROCESS FOR USING CRISPR TO TRANSFECT PRIMORDIAL GERM CELLS IN AVIANS
The present invention relates to processes for transfecting cells. In particular, the present invention relates to processes for using CRISPR to incorporate a polynucleotide into the genome of an avian primordial germ cell (PGC).
Transgenic animal for production of antibodies having minimal CDRs

METHOD OF MAKING IN VIVO HUMAN SMALL INTESTINE ORGANOIDS FROM PLURIPOTENT STEM CELLS
Disclosed are methods for making a vascularized hollow organ derived from human intestinal organoid (HIOs). The HIOs may be obtained from human embryonic stem cells (ESC's) and/or induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), such that the HIO forms mature intestinal tissue. Also disclosed are methods for making a human intestinal tissue containing a functional enteric nervous system (ENS).
BIODEGRADABLE DUCK NESTING HUT
A biodegradable duck nesting system is disclosed. The system includes a first member having a hollow interior, and a second member disposed in the first member. The system includes a biodegradable hollow enclosure having an opening sized to allow a duck to enter and/or exit the enclosure. The system also includes a predator prevention member located below the enclosure for preventing predators from contacting the enclosure.
Devices and methods for managing animals in an enclosure
The invention comprises systems and methods for controlling environmental conditions within and/or around an animal enclosure. The systems and methods preferably comprise a climate control system and infrared sensors in a poultry house having a first climate and housing poultry having one or more measurable parameters such a temperature. The infrared sensors detect infrared light information emitted by a head and/or vent of poultry in the house. The climate control system processes the information to calculate an internal temperature of poultry and activates one or more climate conditioning devices in the house to change the first climate to a second climate determined by the detected information and/or calculated internal temperatures of the poultry. The systems and methods may be deployed in houses comprising thousands of poultry and one or more climate zones. The systems and methods may make one or more climate changes based on one or more different parameters.

TRANSGENE EXPRESSION IN AVIANS
A transgenic avian containing in its genome an exogenous nucleotide sequence which includes a promoter component and a vector with reduced promoter interference wherein the exogenous nucleotide sequence is integrated into the genome and the avian.
BIRDS FOR PRODUCING FEMALE HATCHLING AND METHODS OF PRODUCING SAME
The present invention provides compositions and methods for generating a genetically modified female bird such that, when crossed with a native male bird, produces selectively only female viable hatched offspring.
